Creekside Estate.

Retreat to a home within the Jefferson National Forest that offers solitude, creekside relaxing, and enough space to share with those you love. With two bedrooms, 1 bath, and a full kitchen, you’ll be set up in your home away from home. Enjoy close access to multiple Appalachian Trail crossings while also being situated exactly 30 minutes to both downtown Roanoke or Downtown Blacksburg, Va.

This 2 bed 1 bath house is situated on two acres that you will have exclusive access to. Including a length of Craig's Creek with a swimming hole near the bridge at the top of the property.

The home sleeps up to 4 with one queen bed, a full bed, and a couch. If you would like to have more people stay, please reach out and we can certainly make special arrangements.

With a newly updated interior and fully outfitted kitchen, the space allows for hosting the whole family inside and out.

There is half an acre of green yard to play games out back and an equal amount of shaded land near the creek to escape the heat on the front deck. The home has ample parking in the driveway with a removed carport and easy access to all the property.

Property description exactly as experienced. Lovely spot nestled in nature. I spent the week sitting at the dining room table working while watching deer and chipmunks and rabbits wander in and around the creek and property. Sean (Host) was super responsive. Self check-in was effortless. A/C worked perfectly. Ceiling fans in every room as well. Brought my dog with me; she had a great time too. There are several large trees in the yard that are perfectly positioned if you have a harness and long lead to allow you to hang out with your pup. If I had to go back to Blacksburg for a week I would certainly return to this property.

Ahoy! I am a local from Roanoke, Va but have been living in Boone, NC the past few years working as a pastry chef for a local bakery in the high country of NC. I'm making moves to move back to SW Virginia to build a bakery close to home. This home is perfect for everything I love, hiking, tubing and kayaking, and playing music on the porch under the stars.

Why they chose this property

This area is perfect for being close to both Blacksburg and Roanoke, while also being able to exist in the still calm of the national forest. Being within only a few miles of half a dozen AT crossings is an added treat.

What makes this property unique

The unique build of the house and the placement overlooking the creek lets the home feel as secluded as it is even with neighbors only being a few acres away.
