Host was super and responsive. Loved location as it was in close proximity to ski lifts. Cabin was welcoming, clean and accommodated six people with ease.
We had a great time staying here. The location was perfect for a weekend on the mountain! We loved the hot tub and that there was a grill to use. And there were plenty of accommodations for all of us. The beds were a bit firm for us, and we couldn’t get the thermostat figured out so it got a little warm at night. But those were minor details in an otherwise great stay! A couple of notes to future guests: bring slippers or socks with grips on them if you plan on staying upstairs- the wooden stairs are quite slick! And the driveway wasn’t bad, but I could see how if you’ve got a case with low clearance or only 2 wheel drive, it may tricky getting up the driveway if there’s fresh snow or if it’s super muddy. We loved staying here. The views were incredible, we were a stone’s throw from Schweitzer, and it had all the amenities we could have needed. Highly recommend!
Love the property. We were able to enjoy the mountain experience and the town. Like two trips in one !

The house has beautiful views of Lake Pend Oreille and is conveniently located to the lifts and Schweitzer Village. Unfortunately we were unable to fully enjoy the house because of the frigid temperature. We were unable to turn on the fireplace and the space heaters and "central" air system were not sufficient to keep us warm. Our local contact was helpful and friendly, but it wasn't enough to make our stay fully enjoyable.

Mountain Retreat With Great Views
Authentic log cabin on the hill looking down upon Lake Pend Orielle. Cozy and intimate. Great location to the Schweitzer slopes, a little bit of a drive (20+ mins) to get down to Sandpoint. Flooring was a little warped in spots, but overall a great stay. Would stay again.

Log cabin in the mountains experience
Great location and lovely cabin. Enjoyed the sunrises in the morning and the jacuzzi at night!
Great cabin on Schweitzer, clean, had everything you would need for your stay. Easy check in/out - good communication with Vacasa before check in. Highly recommend for a couple or small family for a vacation in SP.
Great stay with college age kids home for holidays
The house was perfect for our family and had a great view. The skiing was not great but we had a great time at the house playing games and using the hot tub.

Epic mountain cabin
Perfect location. Private yet short walk to Schweitzer village. Even has a good view of the lake. Loved the fall colors! Clean and well stocked. Hot tub was a nice bonus since it actually snowed a bit! Hope to come back this winter to get some turns in!
This is my second stay here and could not say enough good things. It is a lovely, rustic ski cabin/house that is a minute from the slopes and has a lovely view with a hot tub. The owner has always been lovely and easy to communicate with. Not sure why there are some reviews that say it wasn't clean enough. We have never had a single complaint! I plan on staying again next year.
We were there for my daughter’s wedding. The cabin was beautiful. It has everything you would need. There was a lot of room and very comfortable. The best part was coffee every morning with the local deer! They walked up to the fire pit near the balcony and would stand there and stay while we had coffee and breakfast!
Great space, great location, great views! Mostly figured out the fireplace situation from other guest reviews- would be helpful to include information about this during check in. Bit of a tight squeeze getting a car into the garage in the winter with the snow piled up, otherwise great experience!

Good experience
It was a great cabin experience. We enjoyed our stay there. After booking with VRBO I realized they are booking via Vacasa. I would recommend booking it from Vacasa to save VRBO platform fees.
The cabin was nestled in the mountains in Schweitzer. It had all amenities but the one that was unexpected was they provided coffee machine but do not provide coffee grounds or filters. So carry them with you if you plan to brew your coffee.

Beautiful Cabin and experience
Overall we had a wonderful time. The only issue we had was finding the property itself,
nothing on the road gave us a clear indication we were in the right place. Took us almost an hour to find the place. And we called for assistance we were not given clear instructions. But the Cabin was spacious and beautiful and exactly what my family needed for a peaceful getaway away from our fairly busy lives.

Hi Kristy. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for any troubles you experienced locating the home. We recommend guests use google maps when traveling to our homes for the most accurate directions. Additionally, we have passed your feedback along to the appropriate parties to review moving forward. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
This is fairly nice place to stay. We liked the location, the amount of space and it was generally nice. However, we felt like price we paid was a bit premium for the lackluster service provided by vacasa. For example, we were only provided 2 dishwasher packs for 5 days and were told vacasa is not a hotel by their service and we had to buy our own. We also informed vacasa of a slow leak from the top shower down into the bunk room and they told us to simply put a towel in the bunk room before it could get fixed.
Overall, we had a great experience at the mountain and will come back again but will try a different location.
