Casa Valeria is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, making it the perfect location for a holiday on your own, as a couple, with family or with friends. Our guests have space to enjoy a group holiday whilst still being able to retreat to their own space if they wish. This is because Casa Valeria comprises two apartments, both with sea views, a fireplace and heating in every room.

Each apartment has 1 living room, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and natural light. The roof terrace is 70 square metres, with a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean directly in front of the house and the village of Burgau. It is accessable from both appartments. You can meet up for breakfast under the parasol, or practise yoga, Pilates and gymnastics. Or simply relax on the sun loungers – always with a view of the sea.

Holidays with the family, on your own or with friends – be inspired by the wholesome world in and around Burgau.

The hiking path Rota Vicentina (between Lagos and Salema called Fisherman's Trail) passes the Casa Valeria which allows you to walk along the cliffs either to Luz and Lagos or Salema further on towards Sagres. We use the trail for long distance running with great views in the morning and a fresh swim on the beach.

This is a very nice property close to the beach in Burgau. Split into two apartments, we had the lower one. The apartment was spotless and the beds comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable including good wi fi and a speaker to stream your music through. The apartment shares a roof sun terrace from where you get wonderful views over the bay of Burgau. Burgau itself is a sleepy fishermans village with just a handful of good restaurants and bars and a lovely beach. If you want a relaxing beach holiday, I would really reccomend it.

Our Algarve stay

It would have been nice to have some basic spices & cooking essentials. It was a great little place and would stay there again.

Amazing place

The house was súper Clean in a very nice location on the village. Quite near from surf spots. A good place to go If you want to spend some days in costa vicentina and algarve.

Perfect!

Exactly what we needed for a week vacations, from the rooms and living room, the terrace and the location (very close to the beach). Burgau is also a lovely little village, with everything we need to stay confortably.

Beautiful, clean apartment

Beautiful location . House was spotlessly clean , comfortable beds and everything we needed. Large Patio area at the top of the building is an additional bonus. Owner was lovely when we contacted them and we felt well looked after. Those with mobility problems might find the roads a bit if a challenge .

Well kept cottage with beautiful sea views Comfy beds. Loved the fireplace on chilly nights. Property is well equipped and excellent communication with owner. Try Bombardo Restaurant. Loved it.

We had a great stay with our family. The apartment is well located in a amazing small village on the sea and has everything for a perfect holiday. Perfect location for family stay

Burgau is a great family holiday destination with a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants cafes etc. The lower appartment was super clean and a nice size with air conditioning which worked well. It was a quick easy walk to the beach but quiet at night- maybe thanks to the shutters on the windows. The roof terrace was brilliant- lovely big space which was shared with my parents who stayed in the appartment above us.. we may not have enjoyed sharing with people we didn’t know. Would recommend this appartment and stay again

I was a guest by default. My sister and husband who had booked the house were unable to travel due to illness.Leaving the airport, follow the signs for the A22 freeway to Espana until reaching where the A22 freeway splits east or west. That is where signs for Lisbon start. Not clear in the instructions.Parking at the property is limited. Pass the property and follow the road to the right and up a steep hill. There is parking at the top on some land next to a hotel.The house is as described - traditional, neat and tidy. Main bed was fine and the linen super clean and fresh. Absolutely A1 central location!I couldn't hang any clothes in either of the bedroom wardrobes because of the awful musty/damp smell in both. Maybe it was early in the season and they had been closed for a while, but they really did smell horrible and I would encourage the owner to investigate. Air-con was effective. Curtains in the living area could be more effective as they do not meet in the middle and the net curtains did not stop people being able to see in at night. No instructions for the TV but three handsets. Frustrating. Utensils, cups, pans etc in the kitchen have seen better days and felt 'grubby', although I did not use anything other than one mug and one teaspoon during my stay. Good washing machine and the bathroom was fine.Roof area is a serious sun trap. Washing line. Seating is plentiful. Parasol. I thought departure time was 11.00 but Maria was watch tapping at 10.00.

Clean and cozy accomodation

Everything was as in the description. Traditional house with airconditioning and really good bathroom. Nice location in Burgau village near the beach with short driving distances to many nice places. Rental car recommended. We found allways a free parking near the house up the same road. A bar next door might be a concern because of noice (untill 12pm). Didn't really bother us. Some little ants, so better not to feed them with food leftovers. Balcony is shared with another apartment. Good communication. For the price, highly recommended.

And yes you are right it is best to keep your leftover from breakfast, lunch or dinner not on the table or the floor, the little ants live across whole Portugal and will always call there sisters and brothers to carry away there left overs. Wir haben schöne zweiwöchige Zeit in Portugal verbraucht. Nach der Empfehlung des Gastgebers, haben wir direkt vom Flughafen ein Auto gemietet, es ist reibungslos gelaufen, mit der wir die ganze Algarve,mit ihren schönen Stränden, Städten und Orangenfarm besichtigt haben. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, leicht zu finden, wir haben immer ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus gehabt.Die Küche enthält alles, was man braucht, besonderes Orangensaftpresse haben wir gerne benutzt. Jeder Raum hat eine Klimaanlage, die man nachts nicht hört, was man gut nach Wärmeempfindlichkeit anstellen könnte. Die Waschmaschine hat uns so wie Zeit auch die Kosten für Aufgabegepäck gespart. In dieser Ort haben wir uns verliebt: ruhig, schön, natürlich. Jeden Morgen kann man vor Ort frischen Fisch, Brot und weiteres kaufen. Es sind mehrere Lokale von traditionelle bis italienisch und indische Küche vorhanden. Ein schöner Wanderweg die Küste entlang nach Luz.Wir segnen das ganze Land für eine erfolgreiche Zukunft und für den Erhalt dieser schönen Natur.“

Toutes les indications étaient parfaites et Edith a répondu immédiatement à nos questions. L'appartement est très confortable, aucun bruit, bien chauffé, tous les équipements nécessaires fournis. Sehr gepflegtes, schönes Häuschen mit toller großer Dachterasse mit Meerblick (wir hatten sie immer für uns). Burgau ist ein kleiner Ort, der alles in direkter Nähe bietet, was man so braucht für einen entspannenden Urlaub. Die Bar in der Straße hört man, aber die Fenster sind super und die Klimaanlage ebenso. Im EG sitzt man auf Augenhöhe mit den Fußgängerinnen im Wohnzimmer, für mehr Rückzug ist das obere Stockwerk geeigneter. Sehr bequeme Matratzen, wir würden wiederkommen!

Super tolle Lage im Herzen eines kleinen Ortes ohne Massentourismus. Blick aufs Meer und nur 3 min zum Strand. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die große Dusche war für meine Teenager-Töchter ein Highlight. Als es ein kleines Problem gab, haben sich die Vermieter aus der Ferne und die freundliche Maria vor Ort sehr schnell und mit viel Einsatz gekümmert. Vielen Dank dafür und wir empfehlen sehr gerne weiter!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Dachterasse und Meerblick in wirklich schöner Lage in einem kleinen Dorf, in dem es beschaulich und nicht zu touristisch zugeht. Urlaub in Burgau

Die Ferienwohnung ist blitzsauber und liegt sehr zentral in Burgau. Geschäfte, Restaurants und das Meer sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen. Am liebsten saßen wir vorm Haus auf der Bank und haben den Meerblick genossen. Auch die große Dachterrasse ist traumhaft. Einziger Nachteil ist eine Tapasbar, die sich 2 Häuser weiter befindet. Es war bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut, sodass man nicht mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnte.
