From the on line description we thought this property was closer to Williard Beach, which would have been very walkable. This location was a good mile away which is a little trickier carrying beach paraphanalia.Otherwise,it was very clean and comfortable for my family.

Sorry that you felt the description was not correct. The listing is very specific in stating that its .2 miles to Cliffhouse beach and .7 miles to Willard so it is not a mile.
I was here for more than one month and was thrilled to find the kitchen completely stocked with all the utensils I needed to cook meals, even bake some cookies and cakes during my stay. Walks to two beaches -- one rocky and dramatic, the other sandy and great for a quick dip in the ocean, plus the assortment of restaurants nearby made this an excellent spot.
Kathy is quick to respond to questions or issues. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently, giving me the mental space I needed for the work at hand.
I look forward to returning whenever I find myself in southern Maine.
This property is very clean, quiet and nicely decorated. The place was very comfortable and was a great home away from home. There's even a big porch where you could enjoy the outdoors without going anywhere.
The owner is in town and is easily accessible if you have any questions or concerns. She also gave us a lot of information about the restaurants in the area.
We loved walking to Willard Beach and just a short drive (you could walk if so inclined) to the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse. The nearby restaurants are so good and I miss them already.
It is on the 3rd floor and so you have to not mind steps. The ceilings are slightly sloped so you have to be careful of not hitting your head in some parts of the unit.
Overall a fantastic stay. It’s crawling distance from the Cookie Jar--a delicious bakery (don’t sleep on the chocolate chip cookie), Rosemont Market with an excellent beer, produce and prepared food selection, and a wonderful antique shop. Just a short walk from the beach and other places to eat or grab coffee. Less than a 15-minute drive and you’re in downtown Portland, visiting lighthouses, or exploring the peripheral dwellings of South Portland, Scarborough, and others. The commodities are all incredibly sufficient, however, the refrigerator is quite small, which if you plan on cooking is something to consider. Also, the stay was a bit ‘crowded’ on account of both the counseling offices on the second floor and the constant influx of customers to the Cookie Jar and Rosemont. The property was well kept and the host was very helpful and responsive.

Thanks for your review and for the comment on the refrigerator. I just bought a new fridge so hopefully that will be helpful to future guests.
Older, but nicely renovated! Had everything we needed! Fit the 3 of us perfectly. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and a very charming town. Our host, Katyrn was very accommodating, she was available for any questions we had and truly wanted us to have a great experience which we did. I would stay there again and also recommend to family and friends!

Beautifully updated and quaint place to stay, just outside of Portland.
It is in a great location, just a few minutes from several beaches, great restaurants and markets. It was also well stocked with beach towels, toiletries, and everything needed to cook in the kitchen.
