Come stay and enjoy your getaway at our adorable coastal cottage tiny house.
Across the street from the 7 mile white sandy beach, our cottage has everything you need to enjoy quality rest and relaxation.

Privately located at the back of the quiet Rest Point Cottages, this adorable little cottage has a charming screened porch overlooking the marsh the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, or a glass of wine at the end of your day at the beach. Spend your days reading and sunbathing, relax in the afternoon in the beautifully landscaped shared back yard and fall asleep at night to the sounds of the ocean. Cook in with our new grill and all the kitchen amenities that you need including a full size fridge or dine out at one of the many nearby restaurant options at Pine Point, Old Orchard Beach and its historic pier or exciting Portland. If it rains, don’t hesitate to take a quick drive to Freeport to explore LL Bean and all of its other great shopping offerings

The Space

Off street parking for one car.

Fast wifi but no TV so bring an iPad or laptop for movies. Zoom and Teams work great if you must work.

Stall shower, guests taller than 6’2 may have to duck.

Guests have full access to downstairs of cottage however are prohibited from using loft.

Smoking is prohibited in the cottage and outside in the entire association premise.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

This tiny home is nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Proximity to the beach and other attractions is great. Owners supplied everything you needed for a wonderful stay.

This was a perfect little spot to come up to the Portland area while also getting to enjoy the beach! Quick walk right across the street gets you to a great spot on pine point beach, we had a great stay for my birthday! Hosts provided everything you need and all the info in an email beforehand. Great stay!

Lovely get away

This little cottage provided a lovely get away! Very clean, extremely quiet, and a short walk to the beach. The cottage was very well equipped, and the owner promptly responded to all communication. (Random: there is a very sweet older woman who owns two cottages at the entrance, and if you get to meet her like I did, she will make you smile with her genuine kindness.)

Splendid Beach-side Cottage

My wife and I had a splendid end-of-summer vacation at the Pine Point Cottage. The unit was very clean and stocked with just about everything we needed, including beach supplies. A great feature of the cottage is that it is just a short walk to the magnificent Scarborough Beach, where we enjoyed several early mornings and afternoons. This is a great location for folks wanting to visit the attractions of Southern Maine.

Tiny living at it’s finest!

Cottage was very clean and neat upon arrival. A bonus were the supplied beach chairs, wagon and towels. The beach off Oak Street was uncrowded and the water temp very swimmable! Easy walking distance to restaurants and amenities. Caitlin was easily reachable. Perfect location and space for 1 or 2 people for a Long Beach weekend.

Honeymooning Maine

My spouse and I honeymooned here and it was a wonderful experience. A small cottage, but worked perfectly for what we used it as, which was a recharging station between trips to the beach and Portland. The beach is just across the road and the owners provide a beach umbrella, chairs, and a wagon to make the short trek. Excellent location, as you're right next to shops and restaurants and can easily walk down the road to more.

Such a sweet lil place

We really enjoyed our stay, this little house is super cute and VERY well appointed. It literally has everything, just bring yourselves, clothing and personal items. Everything else is there for you. We really enjoyed the little front porch in the evenings and early mornings, also - its in such quiet spot. Steps from the gorgeous beach and you can walk to a few good restaurants. Try it out!

Just a wonderful beach cottage on a great beach with lots of conveniences! The beach sand is soft and white with abundant sea shells for hunting every day.The cottage is small, which lends to its charm, and why we chose it in the first place. But we never felt cramped. The front porch is wonderful as we convened there every morning for coffee and every evening for refreshments! The cottage is very well stocked and clean. While there was no need to communicate with the Host during the stay, the initial instructions were timely and straightforward. We highly recommend this cottage at Pine Point Beach! Lots of fun!

A wonderful getaway

The cottage is just as lovely as the photos--owners have done a thoughtful and attractive renovation. Perfect for one person, and do-able for a couple. Bath and kitchen are small but sufficient. The double bed is quite comfy. The tiny screened porch most welcome for sitting out with coffee and a book and listening to the birdlife. The well-maintained cottage colony (Rest Point) was--in itself--friendly and quiet and a very short walk to the beach, although one cannot "fall asleep to the sound of the waves." Noise from motorcycles and the nearby businesses along Pine Point Road occasionally annoying, but not enough to scare me away! Gorgeous beach, and fun to watch the windsurfers. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back to this very cottage each year.

Perfect beach “staycation”

Perfect getaway for a week at the beach! We live in Portland so the location was ideal to have friends and family join us for some beach time. There is one extra parking spot for guests with street parking often available near by as well. The cottage is adorable and very clean. Everything you need for the beach is there and the kitchen is well stocked with whatever you could possibly need for cooking and preparing food. Quick and easy walk to the beach with a beach wagon available to transport everything. The bed was very comfortable…with the AC going we slept like babies. Super quiet around the cottages with very friendly neighbors. The cottage faces the marsh so sitting on the screened porch was this bird lovers dream! Caitlin was extremely responsive and lovely to communicate with. I would highly recommend this lovely little cottage and hope to come back again!
