Our youth group loved staying here. Great location for those attending Montreat Youth Conference. The house was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for group hangouts.

Family vacation
It’s very nice and private( you can’t see another house from the property). Awesome view from the deck, great place to sit and drink your morning coffee. Close enough to Cherokee, maggie valley, gatlinburg, and pigeon forge that you can go any of them for the day.
Down for a western Carolina football game with another family. Plenty of space, close to the campus, beautiful house. Thank you so much

Good Cottage
Good and old cottage in Montreat. A little wonky with the layout of the apartment being downstairs, especially if you're bringing a big group like we did, but a great little cottage in the mountains. And the Ms. Pac-Man game is a ton of fun too!

Views a 5/ hot tub a 0
The view was great, and the hiking close by on the parkway was wonderful. The bed was comfortable, and kitchen adequate, but something was the matter with the filter on the hot tub and the jets barely worked/ you could feel them very lightly and one half of the tub they didn't work at all, and in spite of asking for service, I just got told it was serviced and fine, so that was very disappointing. Nice place if you don't care about a hot tub (or they fix it).

Response from VrboOwner on 26 June 2025
Hi Anna. Thank you for your feedback. We're so glad you enjoyed the view, and nearby hiking, and found the bed and kitchen comfortable. We're truly sorry to hear the hot tub did not meet expectations and that our response at the time felt dismissive. That’s not the experience we aim to provide. Your comments are being taken seriously, and we will be following up with our team to ensure the hot tub gets a proper inspection and repair if needed. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the chance to provide a better stay in the future.
We had 3 generations ages 9months to 76. Everyone enjoyed their room. Beds were comfortable and updated bathrooms were beautiful. Host thoughtfully supplied kitchen and bathroom necessities. Fire pit was huge success with all ages. S’mores made it even more appealing. Loved being able to walk right down the street to the park and fields. There was something for all ages to enjoy. Close proximity to hiking trails was great. Originally we had 19, but one older adult and one family with the youngest children decided to commute daily from Asheville. 16 people would probably be ideal especially if you have teenagers. Font porch rocker are genius!!!
