This house was conveniently located for us as we were climbing Mt Rainier. The beds were comfortable, the shower nice and powerful, and an equipped kitchen with coffe, spices, etc. The hot tub was large and just the right temp. We would stay here again.
We enjoyed having a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor table to eat at. Everything was clean and organized. The space was great for a large family, especially with the large sectional couch. Location is convenient to Mt. Rainier and tucked back nicely so that it’s quiet and peaceful. We didn't get to use the hot tub, fire pit, or BBQ because we were short on time, but they looked to be in great condition. Highly recommend!

Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed The Mountain House. It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we'd love to welcome you back!
The house feels very lived in and tired. The kitchen counters were not wiped off when we got there. The carpets are very worn and doors are thin so that noise travels well throughout. The hot tub had remnants of other users left behind. The washing machine doesn’t work properly (washer requires an extra spin and drain cycle with every load). The hot water heater might need to be turned up a bit. I took the first shower of the morning today and had the heat turned all the way up for my entire shower and it was barely warm enough. Yesterday when I finished a freezing hike I could not warm up in the shower bc the water did not get hot enough.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that parts of your stay did not meet your expectations.
We take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously. While the natural stone countertops are professionally cleaned and sanitized before every guest, they do have permanent etching and staining that can sometimes resemble marks. We understand how that may have affected your first impression. Since your stay, we've reviewed your concerns with our cleaning team and maintenance staff.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the guest experience. Thank you again for staying with us.
