We had a wonderful stay! We enjoyed the pool and sauna, but what we loved most was the beautiful propertyβ€”open and spacious, yet very private, peaceful, and quiet. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and escape the craziness of everyday life. We would definitely stay again!

Pretty cool place. Location is great. Far away from people (there are two β€œdirect” neighbors total on large lots) but close to a lot of outdoor activities and not far from highway 17. For those with an EV, there is a bank of Tesla chargers in Roscoe. I didn’t have any issues worrying about range during our visit.

The host was very nice and communicated well before arrival and that is the reason I rated it 2 stars. Beyond that, it was not what I expected and I believe the listing is purposely deceptive. The photos of the house and property are AI or photoshopped in some manner to make the property look more appealing. We brought our dog as pets were permitted and arrived to a cat screaming loudly in the garage onsite. The door was unlocked and we checked on the cat, it had been left food and water but it was locked inside the garage with no way of getting out. It appeared that someone may have been squatting inside the garage with the cat as a bag of trash was found near the door. I called the owner and was told that the cleaning person had left the cat there and takes care of it. I did not realize the property came with a cat or I would not have booked it.Upon entering the house there was garbage left in the main kitchen trash can and the house smelled funky. There were fragrance sticks all over the place like it was covering up undesirable smells left over from previous guests. The photos of the listing did not match the reality of the property. There was furniture that did not exist, an entire bedroom and living room that didn’t exist. Some of the doors leading into the house did not lock properly or had very raggedy latches installed that could easily be opened. The house did not feel secure or safe to sleep in and my family left and drove home a few hours after arrival.
