Modern terraced house, completely renovated in spring 2021, with a small private garden, located in a peaceful residential area in the heart of Lower Normandy. The setting is quiet and rural, just 4 km from stunning coastal scenery. Ideal for hiking, water sports, or exploring the famous bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. Nearby, the town of Granville—nicknamed the "Monaco of the North"—enchants with its granite old town surrounded by ramparts, shops, restaurants, casino, and thalassotherapy center.

Our stay in Brehal

It was a lovely property but I was disappointed on arrival that the Caretaker did not speak a word of English! even though it did mention in your details that they spoke both French and English. They were lovely people but we found it very hard to understand things even though we used google to help us. There were details on the notice board in French. of course. which we managed to translate eventually but it was not easy! Perhaps it could be recommended that with future English speaking visitors that there was a copy of the notice board actually translated into English. We have spent many years visiting France and although we have picked up quite a bit we cannot hold a conversation in French especially when it is spoken very quickly. Other that this point we had no problem whatsoever and found the couple very nice and it would have been even better if we had been able to communicate with them!!

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist wirklich gut ausgestattet. Ich habe selten in einem Ferienhaus, so viel Kochgeschirr und Zubehör gesehen. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön eingerichtet und das Badezimmer mit der Regendusche lädt zum entspannen ein. Das einzige was man in der Beschreibung des Hauses ändern sollte, ist dass der Pool ein Whirlpool ist. Wir fahren gerne wieder in dieses gemütliche Ferienhaus. Das einzige was man als Tourist wissen sollte ist, dass die Restaurants meistens nur Mittags Essen anbieten und abends gibt es Kleinigkeiten, wie z.B. Eine Käseplatte, Schinkenplatze, Austern oder Muscheln.

Sehr schönes und gut ausgestattetes Haus in ruhiger Lage mit netten Vermietern.Alles vorhanden, was man benötigt, nur die Matratzen in dem einen Doppelbett waren schon sehr durchgelegen. Sonst alles top!
