Nicely built, well maintained and fully equipped house beyond all the touristic hustle, peacefully located in Jasri in a little park of 10 houses with splendid view on the Mount Agung. Own pool, nice kitchen, 3 beautiful bedrooms with airconditioning and fan, 2 bathrooms, nice teak- furniture, lovely garden with house of Gods. Close to the beach (100m), which is a ceremony- beach, thus always something to see. Good surfspot too! Walking, trekking, snorkeling, up to the mountains, beach- holiday (White Sand Beach 5 km away) , everything is possible here. Amed as diving- hotspot, Besakih- temple as divine highlight, also Mount Agung and Mount Batur in achievable distance. The authentic village Tenganan and Ujung and Tirtaganga water palaces are some of the touristic highlights. Relax on your own veranda, cool down in your own pool or in the shady Bale Bengongs (one with garden the other with sea view), enjoy the peaceful garden, the view around you and let your soul settle down. Ideal for children.

At the villa Dani (Villa Manager) and Nengah (Gardener&Facility Manager) will take care of you.
Dani speaks English and will help with any questions you might have.
She is a great cook too and for some extra fee she can be booked as your private chief. Nengah will come daily for garden and pool maintenance. He is a fisherman and owns a new traditional Balinese fishing boat. If you are interested you can book a trip with him. (my recommendation: Sunrise trip!).
Laundry service and shopping service can be arranged too!

Explore the area of Karangasem with just as impressive rice fields, temples and monkeys but less busy than other areas in Bali. You can also decide to get sporty and do some hiking/ mountain trekking.

Our stay at the villa in Jasri Karangasem was truly special.The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos. Everything feels calm, well cared for, and harmonious.The garden is lush and perfectly maintained. The pool is refreshing and inviting. You feel welcome from the first moment.You can book a chauffeur if you wish. He drives safely and shares many insights about the country and its people. Every ride becomes meaningful.Dani is the heart of the house. She takes care of every detail with great attention. She is an excellent cook. Every morning we enjoyed a breakfast of our choice. The listing is exactly accurate and our stay was fantastic if you want an authentic and quiet Bali cultural experience. The beach near the house is ceremonial and we saw this daily, sometimes more than once. The swimming beach, Virgin Beach, about a 15 minute ride with Ketut (amazing person) is where we spent a lot of time after two weeks in Vietnam since we needed some rest. We primarily stayed outside on the patio in the mornings and evenings which was relaxing and amazing. I got an international license and rented a moped for early morning rides away from the main roads, which I loved. I think you will enjoy this home and the quiet area if that is what you are looking for; peace and relaxation.

Neat, clean and great food

Our family enjoyed our stay at this villa very much. It was quiet and peaceful. Our chef/ property manager, Dani, prepared delicious meals everyday for us. Ketut, an awesome tour guide who drove everywhere we wanted to go. We're grateful with the service they provided to us, they made it a wonderful holiday.

Authentic Bali.

We had a week stay at this lovely authentic villa. The villa was very big for the two of us and can sleep x8. The location was very quiet peaceful you could hear the sea waves and nature at its best.. birds would join you for breakfast etc.Danny the villa manager and her team were amazing nothing was a problem we had tours. Massages in house chef you name it . It was truly amazing experience

This property is an oasis - beautiful, peaceful and well managed. There are laminated instructions ready for your arrival with local tours available to you if you want to go off site. The area is remote, but if you do not have a car or scooter, Ketut will drive you. The closest tourist area is Candidasa which is about 30 minutes away. (this includes bank for currency exchange) We hired Dani to cook breakfast and dinner for us - it was amazing. She is so sweet, cheerful and helpful. Overall, the experience was just what we needed and I hope to make it back here again.

A Beautiful Balinese Villa

We had a relaxing two week stay at this beautifully maintained villa located a short walk down a quiet lane from Jasri Beach. The villa was large and airy and had a lush garden with a comfortable sitting area where we spent a good part of each day. We especially appreciated the sparkling pool. There was a very well stocked kitchen and fine quality linens. We enjoyed walking along the beach at low tide and the short walk 20 into town to pick up supplies.The most memorable part of our stay was the smiling warmth extended to us by Dani, the villa’s manager and chef. She was a fount of information about the area and was a tremendous cook. Dani prepared amazing Balinese meals for us each night that were so substantial we had plenty left for lunch the next day. We left it to her to choose the dishes and it was great fun to wonder what would be on the menu each night. Dani also arranged for us to have relaxing Balinese massages and connected us with Ketut who took us on two great tours, one day to Ubud and another to Tirta Gangga and Taman Ujung near Amlapura. We also appreciated Nengah’s assistance. He did an excellent job tending the garden and pool on a daily basis and kept the property in tip top shape. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely villa which was made all the more memorable by such warm and welcoming people.

We stayed for a week in January. It rained rather a lot more or less as expected at this time of year We came to relax between weeks with our Australian grandchildren firstly in Oz and then in Ubud and Seminyak. This villa is the perfect place for relaxation. It had everything we needed. I thought the garden, tended by an ever cheerful gardener was a work of art. Sitting by the pool at night listening to frogs, geckos and unidentified noises was delightful. We arrived by taxi after dark and the villa proved hard to find so I would suggest booking Randolf's offer of pick up, if you are coming from the airport, would be a good idea. Eating options within walking distance are limited. There are a couple of stalls which we didn't try. There is Irene's Homestay where we often had breakfast which was served by very friendly staff. A little further up the road is Citronelle which we would heartily recommend. Homemade bread and good food. If you come off season you need to book the day before. We had a good week, thank you

Amazing !!!

Just WOW - The moment you enter the garden of Villa Jasri Tiga and see Mount Agung you are just speechless. The house is beautiful, the pool looks more than inviting and the view is just simply breathtaking. The service and hospitality of the staff are very welcoming and kind. One of the highlights: The traditional cooking of Dani for breakfast and dinner. The BEST Indonesian home cooking we ever had in Bali. Villa and facilities are very comfortable and luxurious. Thanks to the guestbook with lots of information and the fantastic driver Ketut and we were able to determine the right activities and visit the most beautiful spots (water palaces, waterfalls, rice fields, temples, snorkelling, white sand beach, chocolate factories, Amed, Ubud). On our boat trip in Jasri we saw many dolphins including a baby dolphin. Good surf spot at Jasri Beach too! Many times it was just nice to stay at „home“ and enjoy the tastefully decorated rooms, veranda, garden, swimming pool, amazing view and great service. For home entertainment: the pool, BBQ & pizza oven, books, board games, DVDs & WiFi. Entire property very clean and beds extremely comfy. We- including our children (3 and 10 years)- absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back next year.

Perfectly wonderful alternative to the crowds.

We rented the villa in late November. Our travel plans were in flux until the last minute. Communication with Dani to arrange our transfer from the airport was easy and prompt. Dani even offered to cook diner and leave it in the refrigerator for us. We were so happy to have good food after our long trip. We arrived to Denpasar at 11:00pm, Ketut was waiting for us just outside the customs hall. We dozed as he chauffeured us 1 1/2 hour to the villa. The villa itself is exactly as depicted in the pictures. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and equipped with a big overhead fan. We were quite comfortable in the rooms at night. Mostly we used the pool and relaxed. There are almost no tourists on this beach and no vendors (other than food) at all. Dani cooked for us, delicious food, fresh fish and vegetables. Dani made the trip excellent. She was able to arrange travel, massage, food, whatever. Even birthday decorations for one of our party. We did hire Ketut for the airport transfers and also for 4 days of excursions. Twice to Ubud, once to white sands beach and once to beaches north. Ketut speaks very good English. He’s also great for information on island history, religion and industry. He always arrived ontime with his comfortable, clean car. Nengah is the man who takes care of the grounds and the pool. He is also a fisherman and has a boat on the beach. One day two of us tagged along with Nengah at sunrise. Incredible sunrise views on the vulcano. Loved it!

Paradise Found!

After traveling through other more populated areas of Bali (Seminyak, Ubud, and Lovina) we ended our stay at this lovely Villa in Jasri Beach. We were greeted by Dani's warm smile. She took us through the Villa to ensure we knew where to find everything and and walked us through the basics of the property. As others have reported, the pictures do not do the villa justice. The inside (where we spent little time, other than sleeping) was clean, cute, and more than enough space for my husband and myself. The outdoor area was simply spectacular. The dining area has a perfect view of Mount Agung which is one of the most picturesque views that will be forever burned in our memory. It looked different from morning until sunset. The gazebo seating area was a perfect place to enjoy reading and relaxing and when you got hot, simply roll into the pool. In the evening we climbed up the lookout in the front of the house for a view of the beach which is a two minute walk across the street. We went to bed to the sound of waves crashing (it really is that close that you hear the sound of the ocean while enjoying the villa). We had Dani cook a meal for us the first night of our stay so we could get an authentic taste of Balinese food. She was ready to ensure our tastes were met (what type of food did we want, what spice level, any special restrictions, etc). She ended up whipping up four uniques dishes that each had a flavor of their own and it was an amazing dinner again with Mount Agung in the background. The other nights we cooked for ourselves (made easy with the well equipped kitchen). On the way to the villa we stopped at a local grocery store for supplies, but there are also plenty of markets not far and some local Warungs right on beach. We walked down to the beach in the evenings which came alive with local families - happy kids playing in the water, families eating dinner on the beach. There were hardly any other tourists in this area and we felt we had a true sense of Bali just being among the locals. Ketut was the driver we were pointed to and he was an amazing tour guide for our daily adventures. He gave us lots of insight about the area and was happy to help us see some of the local sights, including Virgin Beach which will be among my top 5 beaches visited during my lifetime! Everything about our experience with this property was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone looking for the quieter side of Bali.

Paradise in Bali

Emplacement idéal pour nous à l'écart de la foule. La maison est hyper agréable, esprit zen, détente et relaxation....vue sur le mont Agung. Dani est une cuisinière au top et nous a régalé. Toujours et petits soins et d'une extrême gentillesse. Massages, visites locales avec guides, location de scooter ... Tout était parfait. Un seul regret, trop court pour tout voir!!

The Stay of a Lifetime!!! You will fall in love with this house

I can't say enough positive things about our stay in Jasri. My family rented this house for a month to use as our basecamp for exploring the island. The house was PERFECT for our family of four - spotlessly clean with fabulous amenities. We couldn't have been more comfortable. My favorite aspects of the house were the view of Mount Agung and the lovely gardens /outdoor spaces of the property. My kids loved the pool; it was the perfect size for us. What made this our home and not just a house was the care and welcoming nature we received from the villa manager Dani and our driver/tour guide Ketut. These two wonderful humans made our experience more fun, carefree and meaningful than I could have imagined. Dani cooked for us several times a week - and we can tell you it's some of the best Balinese cooking on the island! She also babysat our kids and escorted us to a local ceremony in the village. We saw Ketut almost daily for our excursions around the island, and he was always prompt, skilled at navigating and in a jolly mood! The property's gardener Nengah also took us fishing on his boat and on a couple other boat excursions - we greatly enjoyed these trips! When you are considering where to holiday in Bali, I would highly recommend this property, and Jasri in general. Jasri is off the tourist trail but central to every attraction in east Bali. The local beach will give you a taste of the real Bali with locals, dogs and food stalls setting up shop every night to enjoy the sunset and frequent ceremonies held right on the shore. (prepare for trash on the beach as well - this is a reality in Bali). We frequently headed over to Virgin Beach, which is one of the best beaches on the island and only 10 minutes away. You will never feel crowded when you stay on this side of the island. It was lovely. We left a piece of our heart in Bali, and especially with the wonderful people we met in Jasri who made our trip so special. Thank you Dani, Ketut, Koming, Nengah and your families for making us feel so welcome! We treasure our memories from our time at this villa. Potential renters - do yourself a favor and stay here!

PERFECTION

I love this villa and the secluded location. I spent 3 weeks exploring Bali and went all over. Ketut the driver was a tour guide guru and helped me arranged temple tours, 4 SCUBA trips, an ATV excursion, white water rafting and swimming with dolphins at sunrise. Dani the chef is the BEST chef on Bali and every time I went to a different village or restaurant, it never met Dani’s standards. I went on the morning fishing trip and boat ride to the beach with Nengah. So amazing. The house is perfect. The private pool is something we made use of EVERY DAY. I will be returning but honestly only with Dani and Ketut. The villa is a villa. Nothing special. The linens / towels / beds / kitchen leave a lot to be desired in terms of comfort and upgrades. but the SECLUDED location and the villa staff are the selling points.

From the moment we were picked up from the airport by the Villa Jasri Tiga staff we could not have been more impressed by our experience in this property. The Villa itself was simply stunning - absolutely clean and well equipped - we really enjoyed the espresso machine and pizza oven! What an incredible view of Mount Agung from the villa. And the gazebo with sea view was our favourite spot to enjoy our drinks. We loved the beautiful garden and the pool was perfect to cool down after a day exploring the area. The surf at Jasri Beach was amazing, and White Sand Beach (the next beach) was great for snorkelling. The staff, especially Dani whose cooking was to die for, were terrific and were always ready and eager to help with any request we had. As we wanted to attend a Balinese ceremony, Dani even arranged some traditional Balinese outfit for us and together with her and her family we went to a temple, where the ceremony took place. Such an unforgettable experience! We would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Jasri Tiga to anyone looking for quality accommodation and a relaxing holiday in East Bali.

Very beautiful and comfortable house. Everything as described.

We spent (5 people) one week in this house. Everything was perfect. Dani made perfect breakfast or dinner when we asked for. Ketut, the driver, showed us several nice places in the area. We can really recommend to stay in this villa. There is just one thing to know: Due to the rough sea we couldn't swim even the house is very close to the beach. Nevertheless it is very interesting, as we could see a lot of ceremonis very close to the beach. Top location.

Urlaub, wie man sich ihn erträumt

Nachdem wir, vier Erwachsene, zwei traumhafte Wochen in Raja Ampat verbracht hatten, waren wir von Bali (Start in Ubud) wegen dem extremen Touristenrummel enttäuscht. Zum Glück gab es auch noch ursprüngliche Gegenden und mit Jasri hatten wir in der letzten Ferienwoche einen Hauptgewinn . Das Haus ist groß genug für 6 Personen, der Garten mit Pool ist traumhaft, man hat viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, es ist ruhig, man kommt schnell an einen schönen Strand ... Am aller Besten ist die Hausfee Dani, die gerne, aber vor allem traumhaft lecker für einen kocht. Aber auch der vom Haus organisierte Fahrer Ketut konnte uns mit seinem ruhigen Fahrstil, den ausgesuchten Wegen, seinen Wandervorschlägen und seiner netten, sympathischen Art nur überzeugen. Man kann die Unterkunft wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Danke !!!

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage!

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet- sogar mit Kaffeeautomaten, schöner Garten, schöner Pool. Ruhige, nicht so touristische Gegend. Dani hat toll für uns gekocht sodass sogar unsere Kinder immer etwas möchten!

Perfektes Haus, perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern eine Woche (Juli 2017) in der Villa Jasri Tiga und es war ein Traum. Super Haus, super Garten, super Pool. Wir hatten den Kochservice von Dani und den Shuttle-/Taxi-Service von Ketut gebucht. Beide sind wirklich tolle Personen. Dani's Kochkünste sind unglaublich und Ketut ist ein ausgezeichneter, kenntnisreicher, freundlicher und pünktlicher Fahrer. Was soll ich noch schreiben ? Viel besser geht es nicht.

What makes this property unique

At the villa Dani (House Manager) and Nengah (Gardener) will take care of you.
Dani speaks English and will help with any questions you might have.
She is a great cook too and for some extra fee she can be booked as your private cook. Nengah will come daily for garden and pool maintenance. He is a fisherman and owns a new traditional Balinese fishing boat. If you are interested you can book a trip with him. (my recommendation: Sunrise trip!)
