Great quiet location in Horn and 5 minutes from Fusse and the castles. Communicative host, clean and updated nicely. Family-friendly also. We loved the spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Beautiful views and situated amongst farms, open fields and bike paths.

Texas Visitors

The property is in a quiet neighborhood with excellent views of the castles. The two bedrooms with 3 full-size beds worked out perfectly for our family of 4. Grandparents rented the first-floor apartment, which has the larger kitchen and family room. The only concern is the minimum stay requirement that was not disclosed within the main page. We ended up paying €150 cash upon arrival as a short-term fee. I would recommend the incremental fees be explicitly spelled out to avoid unpleasant surprises. Nevertheless, we had a great time and enjoyed staying on the property.

Dear Sonia, we are delighted you loved the apartments and the stunning views of the castles and that both you and your grandparents had such a great time here. The short stay fee is declared in the listing and makes it possible to accept bookings of less than 4 nights, which we would otherwise not be able to offer. Additionally, so my lovely guests don't miss it, I always mention it in my confirmation email, too. I pointed it out to you in my confirmation email last year when you booked and offered you to waive it if you can stay a night longer. You replied acknowledging it in writing (I showed you your own email and you admitted you had seen the shortstay fee but forgot/misunderstood). I understand it's annoying when it missed and then comes as a surprise, which is why I always mention it when guests are still at full choice. I am glad your lovely holiday experience made it all worth it. I will be even more insistent on pointing it out going fowrards.

Great location near Fussen and the surrounding activities. Beautiful views of the castles and mountains. Maybe this is a cultural thing but I would provide small toiletries such as shower essentials. Overall, the place was amazing and the check in process was very smooth.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr gut. Wir hatten zwei Hunde dabei und alles lief problemlos. Bitte schauen Sie nach dem Wasserhahn in der Küche. Die Temperatur lässt sich nur schwer einstellen und der Hahn tropft. Ansonsten alles Bestens, gerne wieder.

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus Birkeneck. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, sauber, hat einen fantastischen Blick auf Berge und Schlösser und liegt sehr nah am schönen und naturbelassenen Forggensee. Unser nächster Aufenthalt im Haus Birkeneck ist schon gebucht und wir freuen uns drauf.

Schwangau

Von der Lage entsprach die Wohnung voll und ganz den Erwartungen. Nicht jedoch von der Ausstattung. Unter anderem war kein Eierkocher vorhanden (zumindest haben wir keinen gefunden). Weizenbiergläser (für Bayern unabdingbar) haben wir zufällig im Keller in einer Kommode gefunden. Für eine Wohnung die für 4 Personen angegeben wird ist nur eine einzige kleine Pfanne vorhanden. Zudem war der Sonnenschirm auf dem Balkon für eine Wohnung dieser Preisklasse äußerst dürftig (fast blamabel). Die Oberfläche eines zum Wohnbereich gehörenden Möbelstückes war ziemlich beschädigt. Außerdem ist das WLAN in der Wohnung unzureichend. Ein Verstärker mittels Repeater wäre angebracht. Die Kritik ist insbesondere, wie schon erwähnt, für die Preisklasse der Wohnung angebracht. Wenn man darüber hinwegsieht ist die Wohnung schon allein auf Grund der hervorragenden Lage weitestgehend zu empfehlen. 4 Sterne Gesamtbewertung können wir gerade noch vergeben.

Sehr schöne Gegend, Haus in Ordnung

Die Gegend rund um Schwangau ist traumhaft. Das Haus ist zufriedenstellend. Nach Nachfrage haben wir auch zusätzlich Schüsseln geliefert bekommen, da nicht genügend in der Küche vorhanden wurden. Als Grundausstattung ist nicht zu viel da. Es werden 2 spülmaschinentabs zur Verfügung gestellt. Danach muss man welche kaufen. Auch Öl, Salz und Pfeffer wären schön gewesen, dieses musste man sich auch selbst kaufen. Die Terrasse im Erdgeschoss und der Garten dazu sind um einiges schöner als die Balkone im 1. Und 2. OG

Haus mit schönem Ausblick

Die Lage und der Ausblick ist wirklich sehr schön. Auch kann man direkt zu schönen Wanderungen starten. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, nur in der Küche fanden wir die Ausstattung nicht luxuriös.

Traumlage!

Die Wohnung hat eine ideale Lage in Horn bei Schwangau. Vom schönen Ostbalkon und den Schlafzimmern hat man direkten Blick auf die Königsschlösser. Abends kann man dann auf diesem Balkon gemütlich ein Gläschen Wein genießen da er dann schattig ist. In der Nähe ist eine große Brauerei mit Biergarten die ganztägig warme Küche bietet. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen; es ist alles da was man in einer Fewo benötigt einschließlich Parkplatz am Haus.
