Pool is seasonal (Mid May-September). Pool is accessible from yard or walking out of the back door. Back yard is fenced. Be sure all gates are closed and doors locked to prevent kids from accessing pool. Supervise children. No running. No diving. No glass containers. No lifeguard on duty. Pool slide is not available. Swim at your own risk.

Please note the property is on acreage , please expect insects or other wildlife. WiFi available but choppy at times.

Initially we were was excited to find this home for the price. Then we saw the really negative review from a previous guest and wanted to back out. However, I reached out to the host, they assured me the house was clean. They would not send me current conditions photos to back that up. I requested an inspection of the home, prior to my family driving 3 hrs, but the host declined my request again assuring me the house was clean. So I opted to request an early check-in, to inspect myself to let my family know whether or not to drive down. I was charged 25 per hour. I paid it but felt like the host should have waived this fee, especially after all the concern I communicated to them. The house was okay. Was it spotless, no it was not. But first, bed comfort was decent. There is lots of space for 16 people as advertised. The pool was clean. The pool cleaning net is broken, had to remove debris by hand. To take family photos on patio, we had to sweep & clean bird poop off windows & doors. WiFi did not always work. Only one TV works, there are two. Lastly, all the showers have heavy mildew and mold. Bring shower shoes. Sofa & cabinet in living room is broken. Dining room chair & bar stool legs are very loose. Floors are dirty, our socks were evidence. Bring your own pots & pans if you like to cook meals. The non-stick ones provided are pealing.Property management response was generally “that was not advertised” to several of my questions. Overall, our stay was “OKAY".

House was a mess it had not been swept or mopped, windows super dirty, dead bugs everywhere, lots of bird poop all over patio area outside, pool was filthy with lots of algae and debris, air vents super filthy where they had never been cleaned, grill is not even useable,definitely didn’t match photos, host didn’t even try to fix problem just asked if we were going to leave or stay, and we left the house.

We appreciate all guest feedback, but we do need to clarify that the statements made here do not reflect the actual condition of the property. The home was professionally cleaned before check‑in, and we have photos verifying this. The guest spent several hours at the home and did not report any cleanliness issues during that time. The concerns raised were related to normal outdoor conditions in the countryside—wind‑blown debris in the pool and a legally protected bird nest that cannot be removed in Texas. These items are also mentioned in the listing description. They did send a photo of a ceiling vent and stated the house was dirty. This would not have affected their state, but we did have our cleaners take care of the ceiling vent. We asked whether the guest wished to stay or depart, and they chose to leave. A refund was issued for the unused nights. We remain committed to transparency and maintaining a clean, safe home for all guests. Be cautious with this particular guest.
