Initially was a bit surprised by the unpaved dirt roads getting there, but couldn’t have been happier settling in. The home is very remote and quiet. It’s a bit of a drive into town, but totally worth it! We didn’t want to leave much anyway. The location was easy to find with Google maps (even late at night) and the check-in process was straightforward. The space was neat, clean and organized. Plenty of games to pass the time indoors in the AC and lots of beautiful spaces outdoors to enjoy. The jacuzzi was easy to use and clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pans, and the freezer even had ice for us. Coffee was also available (thank you!). Bathroom had fresh towels and soap for us.There was only a little bit of light pollution so the stars were incredibly bright while we were there during a new moon. An absolutely dreamy view while in the jacuzzi. We didn’t use it, but there was a cozy fire-pit in back as well, and a hammock. It rained a decent amount while we were there and the main roads were closed temporarily due to flooding. The unpaved roads were okay to traverse in our Subaru, but be prepared if you have a car lower to the ground. We saw someone get stuck in the muck after the rain. But, the lovely Host was very helpful providing info about how to navigate our way. TLDR; would totally stay here again! The private jacuzzi out under the stars was well worth the trek. Thank you, Juanita!
