I wish it were listed as a true studio, I was expecting a 1 bed as it’s listed. Also would have been nice to have a closet to hang clothes during my stay, and easier access to controlling the windows’ blinds. Otherwise it was nice.

It’s a cozy and lovely little place in a great location! My only complaint was the building/elevator code and the room door code got buried separately in the messages. But it’s minor and easily fixable. I’d stay here again due to the walkability of the area and the nearby businesses. Also it wasn’t super intuitive to get to the roof access, but we ended up forgetting about it and not using it any way.

The check-in experience was disappointing because the elevator was not working throughout our entire 2-night stay. The host was responsive in communicating with us, but unfortunately there was no practical help or solution provided.We are seniors, and carrying our luggage up to the 3rd floor was very difficult, especially with the additional stairs involved. We also could not enjoy the rooftop area because reaching it required climbing even more stairs.I understand that elevator issues can happen unexpectedly, but not having it repaired during our entire stay made a significant impact on our vacation experience.The place itself was clean and well-maintained. It was quite small, but it had the essential items needed for a comfortable stay.Watch out! especially older travelers or anyone with mobility concerns!

As soon as we were notified of the issue, we immediately contacted building management and requested that it be addressed as quickly as possible. We also offered multiple times to allow you to cancel the remainder of your reservation without penalty, but you chose to continue your stay. We were pleased that the elevator was restored and back in service on the day of your checkout. We appreciate your kind comments about the cleanliness of the unit and our communication. While we regret the inconvenience caused by the temporary elevator outage, we remain committed to responding promptly and doing everything within our control to assist our guests.

I would not recommend this property based on my experience. The building itself is beautiful, with businesses on the ground floor and plenty of potential.Before booking, I asked about parking because it was not listed. My first question was not answered, so I asked again and was told there was paid parking on the street and across the street. Before traveling, I also confirmed that arriving after midnight would be okay and was assured my reservation would be fine.On July 1, I received my access code under another person’s name. After I questioned it, the mistake was acknowledged. I arrived around 1:15 a.m. on July 2, but the code did not work. At 1:26 a.m., I called and reached voicemail. I also messaged through the Vrbo app with a photo of the unit number explaining that I was locked out. A representative eventually called, apologized, activated the code, and I was able to enter.Once inside, I found hair on the bed, a spider above the window, sticky residue, food residue on the stove and refrigerator shelves, a dirty rug, and debris in the bathroom. I reported the issues and provided photos. The host disputed some of what I reported, including saying what I identified as insects was lint.I understand this is a vacation rental and was not expecting perfection. I was simply expecting a reasonably clean property and accountability when concerns were raised. Unfortunately, there were too many issues from booking through check-in and the condition of the unit.
