This spacious holiday rental is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Törwang, in the heart of the Samerberg. It is situated on the ground floor of a well-maintained apartment building. The living room opens onto a sunny southwest-facing terrace with a garden area. From here, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding pastures and meadows, as well as the local mountains “Hochries” and “Heuberg.” The apartment includes an underground parking space and a lockable communal bike storage room, both of which are accessible from the stairwell.
The holiday apartment features high-quality furnishings and amenities, offering superior comfort, and is lovingly decorated. The centrepiece is the spacious living area with an integrated kitchenette and a cosy dining area in the bay window on one side, as well as a living room area with a sofa and armchairs on the other. This is also where you’ll find the entrance to the terrace, which is furnished with garden furniture and lounge chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove with a ceramic cooktop and oven, a coffee maker, an electric kettle, a toaster, a blender, and an immersion blender. In the large living area, you’ll find a satellite TV, a CD player, a small library, and a collection of games. The bedroom features a double bed, two nightstands, and a large 5-door wardrobe in the Bavarian country house style. In the second bedroom, you’ll find a single bed, a writing desk, and a chest of drawers. The bathroom, which features a separate shower stall, a bathtub, and two sinks, also includes a washing machine.
Törwang is located in the heart of the Samerberg hiking paradise. Numerous beautiful walks and hikes start right from the apartment, whether through the Samerberger Filze—a nature-protected raised bog—or up the surrounding mountains such as the Heuberg or the Hochries. Challenging mountain hikes are also possible. The Samerberg is ideal for many sports activities such as biking, paragliding, and cross-country skiing. A natural swimming area with a large pool and expansive sunbathing lawns is available free of charge just a few minutes’ walk away. The nearby Chiemsee—with Herreninsel and Fraueninsel—the Königssee, Berchtesgaden, as well as the cities of Rosenheim, Munich, and Salzburg are easily accessible and well worth a visit.
We’re from North Rhine-Westphalia and first discovered the Samerberg ourselves about 30 years ago during a summer holiday. Ever since then, we’ve been drawn back here time and again. We know and love the Samerberg in every season. The holiday rental is a second home for us, which we also use ourselves from time to time.
