The Space:

Designed for groups who value both connection and privacy, West Hill Lodge offers generous gathering spaces alongside quiet areas to retreat. The main house features four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, an open living area with two fireplaces, and sweeping mountain views. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped for group meals, with dual ovens, dual dishwashers, a walk-in pantry, and a breakfast bar.



The primary suite offers a private retreat with a spa-style bathroom, nine-nozzle steam shower, and an upper loft with a lounge area, TV, and exercise equipment. Heated floors, a dedicated ski room, laundry room, high-speed WiFi, and multiple workspaces add comfort and convenience for longer stays.



Connected to the main house, the private apartment adds two bedrooms, a full bathroom, full kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace, and private mountain-view balcony, ideal for families or groups traveling together while maintaining additional privacy.



Outside, 27 acres of private grounds invite you to slow down and enjoy the landscape. Soak in the year-round six-person hot tub, gather around the firepit, grill outdoors, or simply take in the mountain views. Whether you're returning from the slopes or spending a summer evening under the stars, every space is designed to make time together feel effortless.

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the main house, private apartment, hot tub, firepit, BBQ, and 27 acres of private grounds.

West Hill Lodge offers a rare combination of privacy and easy access to Southern Vermont’s year-round attractions. Stratton Mountain is just 8 minutes away, with Bromley, Magic Mountain, Mount Snow, and Okemo all within driving distance. In warmer months, explore Jamaica State Park, Ball Mountain Dam, the West River Trail, and nearby sections of the Appalachian Trail.



For dining, shopping, and spa experiences, head toward Manchester, where you'll find boutique shops, local restaurants, farm stands, and the Equinox Spa.



Getting Around:

Vehicle is recommended, with 4x4 or AWD in the winter.



Other Things to Note:

Wildlife: This home sits in a beautiful, rural corner of Vermont, and with that comes the occasional wildlife sighting. We just ask that you be mindful of your surroundings and avoid leaving food or trash out.



Weather: While West Hill Road is generally maintained very well, surrounding roads can occasionally become snowy or slick during winter weather. We recommend arriving in a vehicle with AWD or 4WD, and always driving with care on the local roads. A little preparation goes a long way for a smooth and stress-free stay.



Power & Internet: Power & Internet: The home is equipped with two Tesla Powerwall units that provide backup power in the event of an outage, so you can rest easy knowing your stay won't be interrupted. Reliable high-speed internet is available throughout the property.



AC: There’s central A/C in the main house. However, please note that the apartment off the garage doesn’t have AC.



Pets: We're happy to welcome your pup to the home. There's a $150 fee + tax for the first dog and $100 + tax for a second one. We welcome up to 2 dogs, each weighing no more than 75 pounds, with vaccinations up to date. For everyone's comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren't permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.



Maximum occupancy: Please mind that this house can host a maximum of 12 guests per fire code. As per the fire department, infants are included in that number. Therefore, any infants included in the booking above maximum occupancy of 12 would unfortunately result in the reservation being cancelled.



Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.
