Welcome to The Hideaway! A charming 2 bed / 2 bath, first floor condo located in the heart of Downtown Ocean City. An 8-minute walk to the boardwalk and close to everything OC has to offer: bars, restaurants, the famous boardwalk, the beach, and all kinds of annual special events such as the famous White Marlin Open (a few steps away) and the Oceans Calling Festival (a 20-min walk or quick Uber ride).
The space As you come up the front porch steps you will notice the covered porch is fully furnished for you to enjoy a drink on after the kids are asleep at night, or for a morning coffee. We provide a large deck box to store all the porch cushions when they are not in use- we also encourage you to store your beach items here during your stay!
The entrance to the condo provides a full view of the open-concept and spacious main living area which includes a dining (or work) area, washer and dryer closet, counter bar with barstools, and a large living room. The living room is equipped with one of 3 smart TVs in the condo, and a large fireplace to cozy up to for your movie night.
The kitchen is ready for you to prepare all your meals should you choose to eat in. We have a blender, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, basic spices and oil, cooking and dining utensils, dinnerware, knives, pots and pans, baking sheets, kids’ utensils, kids’ plates, kids’ cups, and more.
As you enter the hallway, you will find the first full bathroom to your left, and the first guest room at the end. This room provides a queen bed with an overstuffed comforter. The queen room offers a large closet and a smart TV.
To the right of the hallway, you will enter the oversized bedroom furnished with two full sized beds, large dresser, and a vanity (or work) area with a large mirror. Additionally, provided for your convenience in the large bedroom is a Pack n Play for the little ones, iron and ironing board, hangers, and extra throw blankets on the beds. In addition, there is a self-inflating mattress in the closet just in case with an extra comforter and pillow. To the right of the master bedroom is the second full en-suite bathroom.

Other things to note House Rules
- No parties. - No unapproved guests over the guest count limit. - NO smoking at all in the building or on the porch. Please note this is a building-wide rule. You may smoke in the street or parking lot. - Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am- this is also a building-wide rule we must follow. - Please take a minute to review and follow the “Before You Go” signage on the front door every time you leave the condo and when checking out.
Guest Access
- The keyless entry code will be provided after you book and prior to your check in day for a contact-less check in. - There are two unassigned parking spots available to you in the parking lot right out front. Additional parking on the street. - No sandy beach items inside the condo, please utilize the deck box we have provided to store your beach items. You may bring a lock to secure if you would like to during your stay.
Accessibility
We are conveniently located on the first floor in a building with no elevators, but please note that there are 3 steps leading to the condo and unfortunately, a ramp is not available for wheelchair access. Both full bathrooms have standing showers and no bathtubs. There are grab bars in both showers. No grab bars by the toilets.
Babies and Kids
Families with young kids (like ours) are absolutely welcome, but please bring whatever you need to make your stay more comfortable and safer for your little ones. We give you a head start with the following: - Unused electrical sockets have covers on them. - We happily provide a Pack n Play and fabric sanitizing spray, just bring your own cover and sheets. - Folding stool provided in the laundry closet, so your toddler can reach the sink. - Basic children’s dishes, utensils, and plastic cups. - A baby monitor in the master bedroom closet. - Some children’s toys and books.
Check Out
- Please follow the checklist that is sent to you before checkout. - Ensure the dishes are washed/put away and dishwasher is empty. - No need to strip the beds. We will take care of it! - Take out the trash. - Place patio cushions back in the deck box. - Place all items used (beach chairs, appliances, dishes) back where they belong. - Please ensure not personal items are left behind. We utilize a professional cleaning and linen service and can not personally guarantee holding or securing any forgotten valuables. - Please leave us a note in the guest book!
