Do the kids want to go jet-skiing and snorkelling? But do you also love the mountains? Do you want to hike, climb, or even test your courage with canyoning? But of course, there should be great food too… wonderful restaurants with fresh, locally sourced ingredients? <br>And since last year, with COVID-19 —not to be forgotten, of course: It has to be safe. Hygienic accommodation with the opportunity to holiday with the family away from crowds. No large dining rooms like in hotels, but your own private terrace where you can enjoy breakfast with the family in the Corsican sun. Welcome to Corsica, welcome to our Residenz Kreuz in Santa Reparata di Balagne!<br><br>Your accommodation—comfort with a view<br>Residenz Kreuz is located in a small, tranquil mountain village near Ile Rousse. The house is situated directly on a small mountain ridge overlooking the town of Ile Rousse, the coast, and the impressive mountains in the hinterland. An idyllic freshwater lake lies in the valley below.<br>Our holiday home comprises 5 apartments, 4 of which are available for rent to holidaymakers, while 1 apartment serves as the concierge’s residence so that our guests always have someone on site to assist them. Ample parking is available directly across the street on the church square.<br> “Chez Elisabeth” is a spacious 160-square-meter apartment that accommodates 8–12 people. It features a large, private rooftop terrace with mountain and ocean views and access to the infinity pool built in 2020. The pool is used exclusively by guests of the Residenz Kreuz and the neighbouring small hotel, La Santa. Since you can enjoy the view of the sea and Île Rousse from the pool (perhaps with a cocktail from the La Santa Bar in hand), it has already become our guests’ favourite photo spot over the past year. The apartment’s modern kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove, coffee maker, and many other amenities.<br>The sleeping areas are divided into three separate rooms with double beds and one room with two single beds. In the living room, two additional couches can be converted into a double sofa bed. The apartment also features a spacious living-dining area. Chez Elisabeth offers two bathrooms with showers and toilets, one in the main apartment and the second in the rooftop annex next to the sleeping area there. The apartment was lovingly renovated and furnished in 2018. It features satellite TV with German, French, and Italian channels. Wi-Fi is also available.<br> For your convenience, we offer a weekly laundry service for towels and bed linens, which is, of course, already included in the price, as is the final cleaning after your stay. This way, you can relax and enjoy your holiday with peace of mind. A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use by the apartments, so you can wash your own clothes quickly and conveniently.<br>Upon request, you’re welcome to enjoy a breakfast buffet at the adjacent “La Santa” hotel—subject to prior reservation and an additional fee. Our concierge is always on hand to assist you with any questions you may have. <br>Your safety is a top priority for us. Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are standard equipment. Especially in light of COVID-19, you can rely on thorough cleaning in our apartments and pool area.<br>As particularly family-friendly hosts, we offer free cots and high chairs upon request. Of course, children’s bedding, as well as children’s plates and cutlery, are also available. Worried that your car or suitcase will be cluttered with sand toys, a beach tent, and a children’s snorkel? No need! In our communal basement, you’ll find a selection of beach toys, baby pools, beach umbrellas, beach shelters, fins, snorkel masks, and much more.
