Spacious Family-Friendly Phinney Flat Near Zoo

Our spacious two-bedroom basement apartment is located in the heart of Phinney Ridge. It is family-friendly, blocks from a variety of restaurants & bars, a great playground, the zoo, and the bus line.

The space

We are just getting back to short-term hosting (did it for three years before pandemic) and are looking forward to it. We have put a lot of thought into giving you a memorable Seattle experience, so please reserve today!

Our spacious two-bedroom, five-bed apartment is located in the heart of Phinney Ridge. Within a few blocks you will find the zoo, Woodland Park playground, lots of great restaurants & bars, coffee shops, and the bus that takes you downtown.

We are a busy working family with young children and we live upstairs. If you are looking for a super-quiet space where you can sleep late without hearing anything, then this space is not for you.

We have one adult zoo pass and up to 10 kid zoo passes for you to use during your stay. If you're planning to visit the zoo, this is a significant perk!

The apartment has its own entrance, but does have 6 steps down to get to the door. It is a really large space for Seattle standards. It has over 1700 square feet, which allows for lots of room for kids to play and adults to have space. It is very family-friendly with toys and minimal breakables within toddler's reach.

Update: A door was added to the second bedroom that contains the full bed to maximize privacy.

It is one level, but does have a four inch step between the living and dining area.

The ceiling is low in some areas, specifically one beam and a few pipes. The shower has a lower ceiling, so if you are 6'2"+, you may need to accommodate this during shower.

The parking is free on the street and almost always available on our block. If you cannot find a spot please call us and we may be able to move our car to accommodate yours.

We have three real beds and two Euro Loungers from Costco in the living room. One bedroom has a queen and twin and the second bedroom has a queen.

The bathroom is really big. We realize many guests sharing a single bathroom can be challenging, so we have several mirrors one can use to get ready.

Other things to note
******************************************************Our family of six lives upstairs. We will all usually be upstairs on the top floor between 9pm and 7am. Dinner time is a busy time at our house (5-7 pm) and you will hear us. If you plan on sleeping in silence late into the morning, this is not the place for you.

The space has a low ceiling, so if you are taller than 6'2" this may not be the ideal place for you.
