Schalkenbach Dream

We had a wonderful stay in Schalkenbach. The apartment was cozy, warm, and inviting. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, and quick to reply to any questions. The village is very small and a great place to relax, but also has easy access to many places in the area to see the local sights. The plants in the home are beautiful, a very nice touch, and made for a very homey feel.

Perfect stay

Check in was very easy, and Durk one of the hosts communicated very well. The kitchen facilities were fantastic with an oven, fridge freezer and kettle. Everything was so clean. Parking spaces easy to find and the WiFi was excellent. Nadine was always very helpful and communicated well. 100% recommend to anyone and we will be back.

Just a perfect apartment, big enough for the 2 of us. Spend 7 nights, it was wonderful. The apartment is very homely, really felt like home. Nadine did a great job making you feel welcome. Everything you need, is there. Really enjoyed our stay. Ein sehr schönes und tolles Appartement. Wirklich alles ist anwesend. Nicht zu viel, und nicht zu wenig. Alles seht sehr schön aus, mit viele Liebe Eingericht. Wir haben ein tolles Zeit gehabt, 7 Übernachtungen gewesen.

Schöne ruhige Lage.Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet. Neben ausreichend Geschirr- und Reinigungstücher, Reinigungsmittel in Küche und Bad, Backpapier, Alufolie, Swiffer und Hundenäpfen gab es zur Begrüßung Mineralwasser und Proseco im Kühlschrank sowie kleine Süßigkeiten für uns und Leckerlies für unseren Hund. Zudem gab es eine große Auswahl an Kaffee (Kapseln) und Tee. Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos per whatsapp, Nadine fragte zwischendurch mal nach ob alles okay ist und wir eine gute Silvesternacht hatten. Einen fünften Stern habe ich jedoch nicht vergeben, da das Badezimmer schon etwas älter zu sein scheint. Was prinzipiell ja nicht schlimm ist, wenn man ab und zu auch mal einen Kalkreiniger benutzt. Abgesehen davon war die Wohnung sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Die Unterkunft ist hundefreundlich, für Hunde, die nicht Treppen laufen sollten, evtl.problematisch.Was wir vermisst haben, ist eine Mikrowelle, dafür gibt es zwei Kaffeeautomaten.Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und waren alles in allem zufrieden.

Laß' es Dir gut gehen ....

Eine sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete, viel Platz bietende , Licht durchflutete und "mitgedachte" Ferienwohnung. Tee, Kaffee, "Begrüßungsschoki", Badeartikel und so vieles mehr sind hier zu finden, wenn man selbst das ein oder andere beim Koffer packen vergessen hat. Auch wird hier keiner erfrieren, da viele Zudecken vorhanden sind. Endlich mal "gescheite" Matratzen. Auch viele, echte Topfpflanzen tragen zur Wohlfühlatmosphäre bei.Ein Koffer gefüllt mit Spielen für Groß und Klein .... Und die Vermieter .... Wir denken, es sind Herzmenschen. Uns hat es sehr viel Freude gemacht hier eine Auszeit gehabt zu haben.Kommen wir wieder in diese Gegend, werden wir .... wenn nicht schon vor uns "weggemietet" .... uns hier definitiv wieder Einbuchen.

The apartment was wonderful and a real home from home, with some really nice touches which made the stay perfect. I would most definitely recommend and stay again. Das Apartment war wunderbar und ein echtes zweites Zuhause, mit einigen wirklich netten Details, die den Aufenthalt perfekt machten. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wieder hier übernachten.

Eine wunderbare Auszeit für Menschen mit Hund,die gerne wandern.Vom Haus aus sofort in Feld und Wald starten oder auch mit kleiner Anfahrt tolle Möglichkeiten zum laufen!😍 es gibt noch sehr viel zu entdecken,wir kommen wieder! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und hochwertig eingerichtet,man fühlt sich sofort wohl,es ist absolut alles da👍(außer einer Spülmaschine,aber darauf konnten wir auch einmal gut verzichten 😉).

Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert und sehr freundlich sowie hilfsbereit. Wir bekamen ganz tolle Informationen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt.
