Schwalbennest
The newly renovated “Schwalbennest” offers a comfortable stay for the whole family—from adults to little ones, and from two-legged to four-legged friends! Modern and up to the latest standards, it’s a cosy space for togetherness, bathed in natural light with a view of nature that’s second to none!
The bright, spacious entryway welcomes guests to the Schwalbennest and provides space for coats and shoes. To the left, there’s a storage closet with built-in cabinets for suitcases, sports gear, and toys. Upon entering, the view opens up to the floor-to-ceiling windows and the natural beauty of the stunning “Harz National Park.”
The Schwalbennest offers a direct view of the Burgberg, the treetop trail, the gondola, and the forest. The 12-meter-long balcony combines all-day sun with the tranquility of the forest and is accessible from the dining, living, and sleeping areas. Should the sun ever shine too brightly, there are awnings to provide shade for the “Schwalbennest”! You’ll also find a clothes dryer on the balcony.
For us, spending time together is the most precious gift you can give yourself and your loved ones in these fast-paced times, which is why we’ve paid special attention to quality and cosiness in the furnishings. Flexibility and adaptability are also important aspects of modern life, which we aim to offer at the “Schwalbennest.”
The modern, high-quality open kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, whether you’re preparing meals together or enjoying them as a group.
It features a modern induction cooktop, an oven, and a steam cooker for particularly gentle cooking—all appliances are top-of-the-line. If you’re in a hurry or want to reheat something you’ve already cooked, there’s also a microwave.
Additionally, there’s a new, efficient dishwasher and a refrigerator with a spacious freezer compartment. A coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle are also provided.
The spacious dining table seats six people and connects the kitchen and dining area into a modern, rustic arrangement! We’ve even thought of the little ones—a high chair and a cot are included!
The guest bathroom, complete with a toilet, sink, and vanity, is accessible directly from the kitchen and hallway; a washing machine is also located here.
The living room is the second main living area, adjacent to the dining area. Here, a cosy couch invites you to lie down or sit. It can also be converted into a large sleeping area. Next to it is a reading chair with a footstool. The living area features a 50-inch Smart UHD TV with digital channels. There is also a stereo system with a CD player, Bluetooth streaming, Blu-ray capability, and a radio. The Schwalbennest offers a stable Wi-Fi guest connection, which is included.
From the living area, you can access the main bathroom, designed to promote wellness and relaxation. A spacious, walk-in shower features both a rain showerhead and a standard showerhead. The toilet, sink, and fixtures exude understated elegance. All bathrooms are finished in warm shades of anthracite and white and reflect high-quality craftsmanship.
Directly from the living area, you enter the two separate bedrooms, which are designed for flexibility and comfort. For example, the left bedroom can be converted in no time at all into a playroom, hobby room, and back into a bedroom with a comfortable 160x200 Smartbed.
The right bedroom is just as versatile; an 80x200 bed can be turned into a 160x200 double bed in no time. The view from both rooms overlooks nature and invites you to dream.
The apartment features a modern heating system that can be controlled via a central control unit at the entrance.
