Moonshine Romance Wood Cabin Retreat

Tucked away and private, yet close to local attractions that include the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this wood cabin retreat can accommodate up to 4 guests with 1 bedroom, 2 beds, and one bathroom.
Inspired by the surrounding landscape, Moonshine Romance Cabin was designed to make your visit a unique, comfortable and fun experience. Plenty of privacy and surrounding woods here. The neighborhood streets are well paved so walking the area is easy to do.
20 minute drive to either town.

The cabin provides an idyllic and private setting with pine walls and floors, cathedral ceilings and A-Frame windows with wooded views. The cabin`s main floor offers a gas log fireplace, Roku TV, wifi & cable, living area, full kitchen with new appliances, and a master suite that includes a king bed and a jacuzzi tub. Just outside the master suite, enjoy a full deck with wooded views while sitting in rocking chairs or enjoying the pre-heated hot tub. Clear night skies from the back deck give gorgeous views of the stars.The upstairs loft offers HD TV, pool table, pub table, card games, and board games. It`s a great place to have a beer or glass of wine and have a bit of fun.

The entire, private cabin is for the exclusive use of each guest.

Be especially careful and drive slowly entering and leaving the driveway as it is steep. Stay to the right (upslope) side as it`s a much gentler slope. Approaching from the uphill side of the road and turning right into the driveway is the easiest.

Moonshine Romance is a cozy private wood cabin that is the perfect home base for your vacation in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge offers tons of family fun and active play opportunities. Gatlinburg is a quick drive away where you can enjoy art, restaurants, and beautiful hikes.

The local mountain roads and trails are great to walk, but vehicles required to get to any destinations.

Please use caution on often winding, narrow and steeper mountain roads.

Steep driveway: Drive slowly and cautiously, stay to the RIGHT side of drive as you enter/exit where it`s less steep. It`s recommended to access the driveway from the uphill side, turning Right into the driveway.
If there`s snow, you`ll need four wheel drive and probably chains. Traction spikes for shoes are a good idea when cold/icy.

Steep Mountain Drive: Stay to the right side of driveway on entry/exit and proceed slowly. We recommend higher-clearance vehicles. AWD or 4x4 with cable or chain options are a must in winter season.

Fires and wood burning are prohibited in this area.

The minimum age to rent is 21 per the local HOA regulations.

-Driveways are steep in the mountains and require slow speeds and caution to navigate successfully. We recommend higher-clearance vehicles or 4x4, especially during winter months. Driveway is best navigated approaching from uphill and staying to the right (uphill) side for the gentlest angle.

Required Upon Check-Out:
-Place any used dishes & silverware into the dishwasher and run it prior to departure.

-Remove all trash from the cabin, securely close the garbage bags, place in the bear-resistant bin outside and ensure it latches closed. Please remove any grocery items you brought into the cabin. We can`t forward them to future guests and you`ll want them for your road trip!

-Please close and lock all windows and doors and set thermostat to 70 upon leaving the property

-Towels can be left in a pile. There`s no need to launder them.

-Please, Do Not remove any zippered mattress covers. We will strip linens and bedding.

The hot tub is available at your own risk. Please supervise children for a fun & safe experience.

Keep all car doors locked and don`t store food in any vehicles. The local bears and raccoons are wily and hungry. Please don`t feed ANY of them and keep a safe distance if you`re lucky enough to spot them.

Complimentary Keurig cups (coffee/tea) are provided along with some basic toiletries (soaps, detergent & toilet paper) to help you begin your relaxation. For longer stays, these items, groceries and BBQ charcoal are supplied by guests based on their individual needs.

All fires & wood burning are strictly prohibited. A charcoal grill and gas interior fireplace are provided for your use.
