Great place for a holiday!

We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect. A short, flat walk into the square with many restaurants and a couple of supermarkets nearby. The views from the terrace are stunning and we spent most of our time outside reading, sunbathing (sun from 12 noon until sunset in December-the sunsets are amazing) and scanning the sea for whales and dolphins with the binoculars provided.The kitchen is well equipped and had a Nespresso machine and a good quality washing machine. Comfy seating in the lounge area for nights when it was too windy to sit outside. The TV is a bit old and we couldn't find any English speaking channels but we took our fire stick so we could watch Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc (with a VPN) and there is also a USB slot so you can download your own content on your laptop and play it on the TVs inbuilt media player. The double bed was comfy and we haven't slept so well for a long time. The building work on the street is all finished now so it was quiet and it looks great. The small pool is currently being refurbished but we weren't disturbed by any noise (we were there at Christmas and New Year)The only 'problems' we experienced were that one of the shower rooms smelt quite badly of drains so we bought an air freshener and kept the window open (hopefully this can be addressed as the other bathroom was fine) and a couple of bulbs weren't working- the twin bedroom and one on the terrace but that was it.Great communication with Antonio. We'd definitely stay again!

Panoramic Sea View Property

Idea position for local shops, town square, harbour and buses. Panoramic view of cliffs, La Palma, La Gomera, the harbour and beautiful sunsets.Comfortable lounge with sea views, good lighting, air conditioning with hand held controller and binoculars.TV no English channels. Excellent kitchen for self catering. Good electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. Well equipped with pots, pans and cutlery etc. but no spatula. Good hardware shop not far from Lidl.One bathroom with very obnoxious smell and not fit to use. After contacting the host a plumber came and said it needs a pipe repaired. Hopefully the problem will be rectified.Other bathroom ok but needs a new shower head holder.Hand held shower at the moment. Plenty of wardrobe space and coat hangers in both bedrooms plus safe in one.We had to spend the first night in a hotel due to a cleaner inadvertently locking the security gates. We and Vrbo were unable to contact the host until the next day.The host did refund us the hotel expenses but not the taxi fares from apartment and return as we failed to obtain receipts. Holidu are refunding the taxi fares as a goodwill gesture.
