About the host
Hosted by Ciara
I grew up in Ennistymon and had a truly idyllic rural Irish childhood, spending long, easy days down the Glen and by the river, watching the local wildlife and enjoying the quiet beauty of the place. This corner of North Clare has always felt magical to me, and as a local, I love welcoming guests and helping them experience the same warmth, scenery, and small‑town charm that shaped my early years.

What makes this property unique
This property is one of Ennistymon’s older stone buildings, with thick walls that give it a cosy, rustic feel. Inside, it’s fully refurbished, modern, bright, and comfortable throughout. Offering a lovely contrast to its older exterior. Access is from the street via the steps at the side, typical of townhouses in this part of town. Once inside, guests have a fresh contemporary kitchen, a warm living room with a stove, bright bedrooms, and two modern bathrooms. The location is hard to beat: right in the centre of Ennistymon, with the river, local art, coffee shops, the hotel, and great pubs all just a short stroll away. It’s an easy, relaxed base that blends old character with modern comfort.
