All beds have been replaced at beginning of 2023 featuring hotel-quality mattresses.

The house has been fully insulated with new triple-glazed windows and doors. Also, a new state of the art electric heating has been installed which is fully energy efficient leaving the house cosy and warm all year round. About Ballyvaughan and the Burren
The lively seaside village of Ballyvaughan has an array of eateries, shops and traditional Irish pubs. The local Tea and Garden Rooms are well-known and people come from miles to savour the delicious homemade cakes and savoury dishes.

Young and old will enjoy a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolates or visit the Burren Perfumery, a family company making perfumes and cosmetics inspired by the Burren landscape. Take a day trip to the Aran Island located off the coast of the Burren.

The blue flag beaches at Bishop’s quarter (5km) and at Fanore (15km) have sandy dunes and great waves with Surf camps on Fanore in the summer. The cottages at Ballyvaughan are a perfect touring base for West Clare.

You can enjoy an active or relaxing holiday from these wonderful cottages just a stone's throw away from the water’s edge.
