Wir waren mit zwei Kleinkindern 6 Tage vor Ort. Wenn man etwas sehr abgelegenes und ruhiges sucht ist man hier genau richtig. Sehr nette Vermieter und eine schöne Unterkunft. Der Hafen um zur Insel Hiddensee zu gelangen ist etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Genauso wie der kleine Lebensmittelhandel inmitten des Dorfes . Ebenfalls ist die Insel Hiddensee einen Besuch wert.

Das maritim dekorierte Haus liegt herrlich ruhig unweit des Hafens und eines kleinen Strandes in

Das maritim dekorierte Haus liegt herrlich ruhig unweit des Hafens und eines kleinen Strandes in Schaprode. Die recht steile Treppe und 2 lediglich mit 6 einfachen Betten ausgestatteten Schlafzimmer, die direkt hintereinander liegen, sind sicherlich nicht jedermanns Sache. Die Dachwohnung ist hell, jedoch schützen die Fenster in den Schrägen kaum hinreichend gg. Hitze und Helligkeit-vor allen Dingen in den Schlafzimmerchen. In den gepflegten, parkähnlichen Garten würde zum Verweilen einladende Gartenbestuhlung passen. Schön ist die Möglichkeit, sich im Wintergarten (mit Kamin) aufhalten zu können. Der Kontakt direkt vor der Anreise war leider nicht möglich. Vor Ort war die Begegnung mit den geübten Gastgebern unkompliziert. Insgesamt gesehen ist Schaprode als Ausgangspunkt für Hiddensee-Besuche, Rad- und kleine Wandertouren ideal. Dem Haus in Streu am Ortsrand wünschen wir neuen Schwung.
