About this property
Basye Bungalow | Spacious 4BR/3BA cabin with hot tub, fire pit, deck
Nestled on a private wooded lot near Bryce Resort, Basye Bungalow offers a peaceful mountain escape with the space and seclusion guests crave. This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bath single-family cabin spans 2,400 square feet across two floors and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. This tucked-away area of Bryce Resort has no through-traffic and very little light pollution - perfect for quiet walks and stargazing. Basye Bungalow is 2.5 miles to Bryce Resort's main lodge, golf pro-shop, ski/bike lifts, and Copper Kettle restaurant & bar, and one mile from Burn Barrel tavern, Pale Fire Brewing, the Basye Community Store, and Smiley's Ice Cream & mini-golf.
Set among the trees with no nearby side or backyard neighbors, the home's standout feature is its private backyard with a deck for grilling, dining, and lounging, a hot tub for relaxing, and a fire pit for telling tall tales -- all framed by tranquil woodland surroundings. The woodland views add to the cabin's cozy charm, creating a relaxing backdrop from the moment you arrive.
Inside, the cabin is designed for comfortable gathering and easy living. The four-bedroom layout gives everyone room to spread out, while three full bathrooms help make mornings and evenings convenient for larger groups. With generous living space both upstairs and downstairs, the bungalow offers a welcoming atmosphere that's both open and homey. It's an ideal retreat for families and small groups looking to unwind in a serene setting. Please review the listing photos carefully.
The cabin's large kitchen is ready for everything from quick breakfasts to full family meals, and the living area provides a comfortable place to come together after a day of mountain adventures. Whether sharing a meal, planning the next outing, or settling in for a quiet night, the layout supports a laid-back, easygoing stay. The open kitchen features stainless steel appliances (fridge, range, dishwasher, microwave, countertop convection/toaster oven), granite countertops, ample cabinet space, and a pantry. The living room has a comfy couch and love seat, gas logs fireplace, and smart TV mounted above the mantle. The dining room seats eight at mealtime, with two additional seats at the kitchen island.
Step outside from the kitchen onto the generous deck to enjoy fresh mountain air, privacy of the wooded lot, and calm of your own backyard retreat. Prepare meals on the propane grill, dine at the 8-person patio table, and enjoy the comfy lounge seating. This setting is perfect for morning coffee, evening conversations, or simply taking in the natural surroundings. Guests love the secluded feel and often highlight how the property delivers a refreshing break from the everyday.
Down the hallway from the main living area, you'll find three bedrooms each with queen beds and private desks if work interrupts your getaway. One bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom with shower, while a full hallway bathroom with tub/shower serves the other two upstairs bedrooms.
Downstairs offers a massive living area with two couches, a large smart TV, and ping pong table. The hallway leads to another full bathroom with tub/shower, the fourth bedroom with queen bed, and laundry room with full-size washer & dryer. Exit the rear french doors to find the hot tub mere steps way and a landscaped pathway leading down to the fire pit area with a hammock and eight Adirondack chairs.
Important: we supply the cabin with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, two kitchen dish towels, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad.
