Charming, pet friendly 2-bedroom cabin close to multiple lakes for boating

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this two bedroom cabin in Vassalboro, just outside of Augusta and a direct route for day trips to Midcoast Maine.

This location is made for boating enthusiasts! Plenty of parking for those who are bringing their campers or boats to enjoy Three Mile Pond (public boat landing 5 minutes away), China Lake (15 minutes away), Lake Saint George (22 minutes away), Messalonskee Lake (30 minutes), and Belgrade Lakes (40 minutes).

Back at the camp, walk up onto the covered porch and into a full kitchen complete with full size fridge, electric stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, blender, and plenty of cookware, utensils, and glassware for all your dining needs. The kitchen has an eat at peninsula right next to the four person dining table. Open concept living room features a big screen smart TV for streaming all your favorite shows (there is no cable, only streaming) and a brand new couch that pulls out into a queen size bed.

The large, light filled master bedroom features a queen bed and is located off the living/dining room. It also has an oversized chair for morning coffee, quietly reading, or pulling it out into a twin size bed for young children to sleep nearby comfortably. The second bedroom is on the other side of the cabin, off the kitchen, where there are two twin size beds.

Guests have a nice bathroom with a large standing shower and plenty of towels and toiletries for convenience. There are also extra beach towels for those days on your boat. The cabin has a full size washer and dryer and stays comfortable with heating and air conditioning.

The cabin is pet friendly and does have a dog bed for your furry friends. The road to get to the camp is a 1 mile well maintained dirt road, safe for cars, trucks, hauling campers or boats, and motorcycles. The private yard has a lovely fire pit to enjoy on cool evenings with complimentary fire wood on site.

Three Mile Lookout is a perfect place for privacy, a place to unwind after adventures each day, and would be wonderful for a friend's getaway, couple's retreat, or family outing.
