We had the best time at this cabin! The private beach was never crowded and was an easy 5 minute walk. Host generously provided life jackets, oars, and slip for the kayaks. I like to cook on vacation and the kitchen was well-equipped. Plenty of pots and pans, crockpot, griddle, and much more. We certainly got good use out of the cornhole set on the deck. We've done a lot of rentals and this was definitely one of the cleanest. Already planning on when we could come back!
Enjoyed our overall stay in the cabin. Space was very good for the number in our party. The home was close to the lake and was accessible from the house.
The house was just as described, perfect for our party of 11, and one fur baby. Nice cool AC, short walk to lake for swimming, and the boys loved the canoes and fishing! We had an issue with the internet and TV on the 2nd day and owner took care of it promptly with no further problems. Well stocked, and comfy.
Location and property was amazing. Very spacious close to everything.. lots to do. So peaceful and tranquil.. lovely trails.. would definitely recommend this place..
Beautiful cabin with a lot of maintenance problems . Mice , unusable bathroom, door can't be locked.
Wonderful cabin in the most beautiful area , with lots to do . Private gated community, with private lake to swim and boat.
Cabin has lots of room for a large family . I would love to stay there again if all the maintenance issues are resolved .

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. They are all appreciated! We check the cabin after each guest has left and are always available for any issues. Can find no evidence of any doors not working anywhere throughout the cabin. All bathrooms and doors are fully functional.
We have, on occasion over the years had a mouse sneak in. We are in the beautiful mountains and surrounded by woods , if doors are left open all day it can happen. We are in the area and can address the problem right away if we were notified. We haven't had any guests report any issues this summer and our family was there the past week and had no issues. Again , thanks for your time and we would love to have you back. Most of our guests are return guests as rhe Lake Lure area is such a special place.

Simply wonderful. The cabin was everything we thought: plenty of room for our group of seven, gorgeous views, peaceful neighborhood, lots of activities and hiking areas within close distance. We traveled with two boys (12 and 10), and they found plenty of activities within walking distance of the cabin to keep them entertained the whole week.
I’m hoping to return to this lovely cabin again next winter!
The upstairs bathroom needed a shower there was a strange looking tub that you could spray yourself down with . A lot of wasted space definitely could use a remodel .
The property was the perfect size for us. There were nine adults (4 couples) and one 11 year old. It was close to most things we wanted to do ( whitewater rafting, UTV, ziplining). There were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. It was a great cozy place to unwind after the days adventures.
The property was nice and the location was convenient to Lake Lure. Cabin was well equipped and offered what you needed to make your stay pleasant. The check in process at the gate upon arrival is a little difficult but once you're in, you have access to key cards making coming and going easier. The cabin could use a good cleaning to remove some dust and cobwebs that collect over time. Overall, a nice place, wonderful location.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were in the area for a wedding and were very busy. We do wish we could have enjoyed the cabin a little more. The only complaint I have is the hot water really only lasts through one shower which was disappointing considering the home has so much room for guests. It was one of the cleanest properties I have stayed at in a while. Also very private which was nice!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We had a plumber come out and a thermostat had to be replaced. We apologize for the issue. It was a quick fix. Wish we had known when you were here, we could have fixed the issue! Again, thanks for making us aware when you left.
