Tranquil 4-bedroom house with dock on Lake Martin

Hi, We are Kyle and Rebecca Woolsey. Timbercove Paradise is more than a lake house to our family. It’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and make the kind of memories that stay with you long after the bags are unpacked.

We’re a parents-and-daughter-and-husband team who spent years searching for the perfect family-friendly retreat on Lake Martin. We hoped to find a home with a beach for sandy toes, a big yard for running and playing, and plenty of room to gather our kids near the water we love so much. We found it here.

From sunrise coffee on the patio to evenings around the fire making s’mores, every corner of this home was chosen with family, comfort, and connection in mind.

Our hope is that you feel that same sense of ease and joy during your stay—and that you leave with full hearts, happy photos, and lifelong memories made together.

One of the coolest things about Timber Cove Paradise is that it was actually featured on HGTV’s Lakefront Bargain Hunt Renovation in the episode “Making Memories on Lake Martin.”

Our family purchased the home in July 2026, and now we get to continue its story. We loved so much of what was done during the HGTV renovation, but like any well loved home, there is always room to make it even better. We’ve been slowly but surely adding our own touches, making updates, and finding little ways to improve the home with each visit. It’s definitely a labor of love, and we’re having a lot of fun with it along the way.

What really sold us on the home, though, was the setting. It sits in a quiet cove where you can truly slow down and enjoy being at the lake. There’s a private keyhole dock, a separate sitting and swim dock, kayaks, a canoe, paddleboard, and plenty of water toys. Some of our favorite moments here are the simple ones. Coffee on the porch in the morning, afternoons on the water, and evenings around the firepit.

Most importantly, this isn’t just a rental to us. It’s our family’s lake home. We bought it as a place to spend time together, make memories with our kids and family, and hopefully enjoy for many years to come. We love getting to share it with other families who are coming to Lake Martin to do the same.

So yes, you’ll be staying in a little piece of HGTV history, but you’ll also be staying in a home whose story is still being written. We hope you’ll make some pretty great memories here, too.
