Lake Front Cabin W/ Screened-in Porch and personal dock - Close for Auburn games

This is a newly remodeled two bedroom cabin that is located directly on the water. The screened-in front porch has a breathtaking view of the lake and is a wonderful place to sit and relax. One room has 2 twin beds and the other room has a full size bed. An extra bedroom has been added to the back which has a full size bed. There is also a sofa-bed in the living room.

The cabin comes stocked with everything you will need for a relaxing getaway including bed linens, towels, dishes, and even a washer and dryer. The cabin has its own dock for your boat and easy access to the water. There are 2 boat ramps just minutes from the cabin for your convenience.

The cabin is a wonderful place for a vacation on one of the top 10 lakes in America. There are a few restaurants nearby and Chuck's Marina (which hosts Saturday Night Karaoke) is literally just around the corner either by boat or by car. The cabin is also ideal for Auburn home games with only a 40 minute drive.

It was a quiet and beautiful place to stay. The screened in porch was great to just sit and watch the lake activity. Host was available for any concerns. He was there to fix the shower door (a roller broke).

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s property! It was our first time to Lake Martin and we will def be back. Our favorite part of the house was def the dock and the screened in porch where we spent most of our time! The cove is nice and quiet and we swam off the dock daily!

Relaxing lake retreat

Our family plus pups had a wonderful stay in this cabin. We loved that they have maintained the old cabin with modern updates. Plenty of room inside, comfortable beds, nice screened in porch with a beautiful view of the lake. Enjoyed the use of the paddle board. Rural setting, but restaurants not too far and an easy drive to Auburn. Would love to return!

Enjoyed the property nice view of the lake. Greg was available to answer questions and was great with check in and check out process. I would like to suggest some newer towels and linens also stove and dishwasher update. The over all stay was nice and fireplace came in handy on those cool mornings. Overall did enjoy the lakeside cabin.

We got just what we wanted, a good old fashioned fish cabin. The pics were actually very close to reality, which is rare. The hosts were very accommodating. Will be staying there again. The location was great for my boat, the pier had really nice bumpers to protect it.

What a delightful find. We were looking for a pretty natural place just to get away and enjoy being together. This was it. The house is less than ~25 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, a state park, marinas, etc., but you feel "out in the wild," with the sounds of Lake Martin right at your doorstep. And the property is beautiful. Can't wait to go back!

SCAM DONT STAY HERE

SCAM BEWARE!!! One of the beds was broken when we arrived. We fixed the bed, and they charged us. The screen door was broken when we arrived, they charged us $730. We left all the pillows; they claim we took some with us and charged us. We left all the towels, even washed them, and left them in the dryer and they charged us. They charged us for a LAMP, that no one touched???

It wasn't meant to be.

Arrived at the rustic property, unlocked the door, unloaded the car and got everything carried in. It was stuffy so went to thermostat to see if we could reduce the temp. Thermostat was programed to heating and blowing hot air. Talked to owner and he couldn't get anyone out to check new system. Ended up leaving after 2 1/2 hrs. We will be going back and trying another weekend. The owner was very nice and tried to take care of the problem but no one was answering their phone on a Friday afternoon/evening.

Memorial Day Weekend at Lake Martin

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in the cabin. As described, it is right on the water with a great view of the big water. Less than a 5 minute ride to Chuck's Marina, for food, gas, or boat ramp. The cabin was a perfect size for our family of four and our two dogs. Everything you need is available in the cabin. The screened in porch overlooking the dock and the lake is where we spent most of our time when not on the water. I don't think you could find an Owner more willing to help make your stay the best it can be. He and his Wife visited us to make sure we had everything we needed, and he called to check on us to make sure there wasn't anything we forgot. (Which I did, Blackberry charger). Greg even found a relative with a charger and brought it to me for my use during our stay. We did encounter several periods of rain during our stay. I only mention that because Greg even offerred us another night at no charge. Very few Owners would offer that just so you can be satisfied with your stay. Overall, a great place to go, with a fantastic Family to deal with. Go visit, you will not be sorry!

What makes this property unique

The lake has so many wonderful things to see and do. It's fun to simply float out by the dock. Chimney rock is about a 15 minute boat ride away. Chuck's Marina is very close and has entertainment on most weekend nights.
