The large, fully stocked kitchen is ideal for home-cooked meals and opens to a dining area that seats up to 12 guests. Prefer dining out? Several excellent restaurants are just minutes away, offering everything from pizza and seafood to classic Southern cuisine.
Step outside to the covered lakeside deck or relax on your private dock while watching the family enjoy the water. With the house located only 50 feet from the shoreline, the outdoor space feels like a true extension of the home. The property sits on the quiet side of the 49th Street Bridge, creating a safe, low-traffic area ideal for swimming, floating, fishing, and kids at play. Perfect for fishing boats and smaller watercraft, the 5-foot clearance under the 49th Street Bridge keeps larger boats out—creating a peaceful slough. Lovely lake cabin in a quiet location. We rented the boat with the property to ensure ease of going back and forth under the low bridge nearby. Plenty of places for us to sleep and be comfortable. Thank you and we loved Lake Martin!

Family Vacay at Lake Martin

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week-long vacation at Lake Martin. The location was perfect. Quiet with very little boat traffic. The house was clean and comfortable. And renting the pontoon boat for the week was the best. If you rent the house....strongly recommend renting the boat as well. There are lots of places to go on Lake Martin and we took the boat out every day. Would definitely go back again!

We visited for a football game with family and the house is perfect! The lake is beautiful. The decor of the home is beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed for a great weekend visit. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautifully remodeled, cozy and clean! The hosts were so welcoming and super fast to respond to any questions. Great location to all the best restaurants, yet in a quiet area of the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great, quiet location which was great for my two special needs kids. I was a little disappointed to see that there was not a paddle board on site even though I was told there was. Dishwasher doesn’t do a great job of cleaning so we pulled some dishes out of the cabinet from the previous stay that were covered in mustard and ketchup. Water is about 6 feet from the end off the dock which the kids loved since they didn’t have to wear a life jacket.

The four of us had a very nice Labor Day weekend at the lake. The property was clean and included all we needed for a pleasant stay. The hosts were very responsive to all questions and needs especially when we needed assistance on the lake with the pontoon boat. The boat had many sizes and makes of safety vests on board, all well used. The compartments that held the vests were a bit dirty and bug infested but we got over it. Beyond having a bit of fuel-related mechanical trouble on the boat, we would rent it again. You can’t beat being on the water on a sun-filled day! Be warned, the driveway to the property is very steep, as are some of the steps to the house, so an all-wheel type of vehicle is best to traverse the hill. The lake is beautiful!

Peaceful Retreat

We had the best time at Lake Martin! The weather was beautiful and over our 3 days of fishing, we caught over 100 fish. The cabin is beautiful and plenty big for a family and the area is so peaceful and serene...we never saw another person our entire trip! Definitely recommend this cabin!

Relaxing and Fun for the Whole Family!

We had such a great time! The covered porch with swings, overlooking the lake was such a great place to have our morning coffee! We loved taking the pontoon boat out each day to soak up some sun and enjoy the beautiful lake! Perfect and spacious home for the whole family and/or friends!

Great Property

What a great property! Off the beaten path and wonderful for a relaxing family vacation. We stayed for a week for our family vacation and we rented the pontoon. The fishing was great, the firepit was lovely, the kids used the paddle boat and absolutely had a blast! Great stay and Marian was absolutely lovely to deal with and couldn't have been a better host! Thank you so much we hope to return in the future!

We had a great time. Renting the pontoon was definitely worth it. Easy communication with owner. The house is clean, and the dock and boat are in good shape. I have a foot injury and a bum knee and was still able to handle the steps and driveway slope.

Quiet and relaxing

Very quiet area on the Lake. We rarely saw other people or boats. Great price for the house. We also enjoyed the pontoon boat, rode to a quiet cove nearby and stayed in the water floating. Loved the recliners on the sofas too.

Great quiet place on the lake.

Everything was as shown online. The host was very fast with responding and communicating. The house is in a cove so very private and quiet. We did rent their boat as well which was so nice.
