Octagonen Österlen - a unique vacation home

Holidays in a quite unique house!



In the Österlen region, one of the most popular areas of Skåne, you will find this really quite unique eight-sided (octagonal) holiday home with tower.



It was finished in 2009 and is rented out now to holiday guests, both in summer and in winter. It has a living space of about 55 square meters as well as four places to sleep.



The holiday home is beautifully located in the landscape named „Rörums Backar“. It is only a stone´s throw away from the sea or a fishing lake. You will live here right in the middle of nature, in an area with apple cultivation near Kivik as well as the national park of Stenshuvud.



People who like sports will find here several idyllically located golf courses as well as a ski slope with lift in winter, something special for South Sweden with its normally low relief. As some more destinations for excursions could be recommended the towns of Ystad, Lund, Malmö as well as the Danish capital, Copenhagen, or the Danish rocky island of Bornholm.
