Luxury Villa San Bartolo is located in the eponymous place in the heart of Istria, near the fairy-tale historic town called Motovun located on a hill. The villa is built in the traditional Istrian style of stone construction, and exudes rustic charm, and special attention is paid to elegant details. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the green vineyards, olive groves and the charming Motovun on the neighbouring hill.

Accommodation capacity of the villa is for a maximum of six people. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, one bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there is another bedroom, a bathroom, and a living room. On the second floor is the third bedroom and a bathroom. A washing machine and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board are at your disposal. On the spacious plot of 700 m2 you can relax and refresh in a heated infinity pool of 40 m2, drinking premium Istrian wine on deck chairs around the pool, enjoying the sunset or prepare delicious delicacies on the outdoor charcoal grill. In the yard of the villa there are two parking spaces.

The excellent location of Villa San Bartolo allows you to experience all the charms of Istria, which is not without reason given the adjective "magical". The inner part consists of medieval towns that offer a handful of cultural and music festivals, among which stand out Motovun, Grožnjan, Višnjan and the smallest town in the world - Hum.

Istria is also known for its top eno-gastronomic specialties, primarily wine, olive oil or a very expensive underground gem - truffles. In Motovun, more precisely in the Motovun forest, there is a large truffle deposit. This wild mushroom usually grows next to the roots of trees, and to find it, special hunting dogs are trained, which require a long and exhaustive training.

Black truffles can be found all year round, and the season of the more expensive, white truffle begins in the fall. Then you can try yourself in interesting truffle hunting tours that are organised in the centre of Istria. In addition, in Istria you can enjoy the many wine roads and taste the indigenous varieties of wine that are recognized for their quality not only in Europe but also around the world. In addition to Malvasia, Teran, Merlot, Muscat or Cabernet Sauvignon are also grown in Istria.

In addition to a rich gastronomic offer, Istria also offers many other interesting facilities, such as sightseeing of cultural and historical monuments and sites in urban centres such as Poreč, Umag or Rovinj. Do not miss to visit the city of Poreč, where the Euphrasian Basilica is located, one of the most valuable sacral monuments in this area, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The value of the Euphrasiana lies in the fact that it is one of the few fully preserved monuments of early Christian and older Byzantine art. The complex was built in the 6th century, but it also includes the remains of mosaics from the 3rd and 4th centuries, which testify to the longevity of this monumental edifice.
