An excellent property close to park, campus, and restaurants. The property was spotless with great furnishings and nice additional touches. These included soft blankets to cuddle under (AC is very cooling), shower head is positioned for taller visitors, and complimentary pizza in the freezer. Definitely on my list for the next time I visit.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The Vrbo looked exactly like it was advertised! It was adorable and spotless!! The beds were fantastic and we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! It was in a nice neighborhood and convenient to downtown and restaurants. Our host, Spencer was outstanding with his communication and was available to answer any questions we had. We highly recommend this Vrbo!!!

I'm Spencer — by day, I'm a senior supply chain manager, so I know a thing or two about making sure things run on time and show up exactly as promised. Outside of work, I'm all about spending time with family and finding our next vacation to plan. We got into short-term hosting because we saw a real need in our area for smaller, more affordable spaces — not everyone needs (or wants to pay for) a huge house for a weekend trip or work stay. I like hosting because it lets us fill that gap and give people a comfortable, well-run place to land, without the markup.

Why they chose this property

We chose Salina because it's easy to get to and easy to love. Plus, we've lived here all our lives. Sitting right at the crossroads of I-70 and I-135, it's a natural stopover for road-trippers, but it's also become a destination in its own right — with a walkable historic downtown, local restaurants, and small-town hospitality that bigger cities can't fake. The property sits on a quiet residential street, so guests get a peaceful place to land at the end of the day while still being minutes from everything Salina has to offer.

What makes this property unique

This 2-bedroom, 1-bath home is fully updated and thoughtfully furnished — not a cookie-cutter rental. Leather seating, a curated gallery of local Salina photography, and warm, modern finishes make it feel more like a well-designed home than a generic short-term stay.
