Meereszeiten Eilsum – Enjoy the Peace and Quiet, with Greetsiel Right on Your Doorstep

Welcome to the “Meereszeiten” holiday rental in charming Eilsum—the town right next to Greetsiel. Here you can enjoy the soothing tranquility of rural East Frisia, yet still reach the popular harbour town of Greetsiel—with its twin windmills, cafés, restaurants, and typical maritime atmosphere—in just a few minutes.

The lovingly furnished holiday rental on the upper floor of the house offers approximately 70 m² of space for up to 3 people and is ideal for couples, small families, or solo travellers who value comfort, natural light, beautiful sunsets, and an excellent location. A separate entrance ensures maximum privacy. For our youngest guests, we provide a cot and a high chair free of charge.

An outdoor staircase with its own entrance, located on the side of the house, leads you into the inviting entryway of the holiday rental. Here, you’ll find plenty of space for coats and shoes.

The spacious living and dining area forms the heart of the apartment. A bright, cosy three-seater sofa bed invites you to relax and can be easily converted into an additional sleeping area in just a few simple steps (sleeping surface 188 × 140 cm). Of course, there’s also a TV here.

The modern, bright built-in kitchen is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired:
fridge-freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter & Tassimo), toaster, electric kettle, and numerous extras make cooking on holiday pleasant and hassle-free. The adjacent dining table seats up to six people and harmoniously connects the living and kitchen areas.

The spacious, bright bedroom in the quiet rear section of the apartment is furnished with a comfortable double bed (180 × 200 cm) and offers the perfect setting for restful nights. The modern, new bathroom features a shower and boasts a bright, contemporary design.

All skylights can be blacked out. High-quality oak laminate flooring has been installed in all living areas, creating a warm and pleasant living atmosphere.

In the front garden area of the house, you’ll find your own small seating area (without a lawn). It’s located near the staircase and is separated from the ground-floor apartment’s garden by a hedge—ideal for dining outdoors, enjoying the sun, or simply unwinding. A cosy beach chair rounds out this area and creates that authentic North Sea holiday feeling.

Are you travelling with multiple guests?
You’re also welcome to book both holiday rentals—the Watthuus on the ground floor and the Meereszeiten on the upper floor—together. This way, you’ll have the entire house exclusively to yourselves, with space for up to 10 people. Ideal for families who are friends, multi-generational groups, or shared holidays with plenty of space and privacy.

You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
