We have been renting in the Black Hills for more than twenty years and have seen some dandies - this is of that category. It feels clean and new and quite spacious. It's near town and offers easy access to all the good stuff without being right in the middle of the chaotic tourist traps. We always make a trip to one of "Lynn's Dakota Mart(s)" to stock up after the long road-trip west, so the scarcity of condiments and such was no problem at all. We even left a few things, as usual, for future visitors. We can hardly imagine a more ideal hostelry for our visits, and will almost certainly return. Turkey and whitetail deer abound, and the scenery, as always, speaks for itself. Ten-out-of-ten and five-stars all the way.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the space and the convenient access to the area. It is wonderful to know that our home provided such a comfortable setting for your visit, and we look forward to welcoming you back again.
My immediate family came together here, from 3 different locations across the West, to spend time with extended family residing in and around Hot Springs. The house on Buena Vista was the perfect staging spot for activities from Angostura Reservoir to Mount Rushmore.
Clean. Quiet. Well appointed. We especially liked the recliners. Only a few minutes from Hot Springs.

Beautiful home
I cannot say enough about this gorgeous home. Beautiful location the view was gorgeous. We had a great time in the home area was nice and quiet. The home was clean wow was it clean. I would rent this house again if I came back to Hot Springs SD. You have to see this home and stay because it is worth the money. Beautifully furnished, decorated. Definitely a 10 star review.
Landscape photo does not do justice to the spectacular setting!
Very beautiful - almost too ‘fancy’ but super comfortable. We loved the extra ‘snuggle blankets’ and electric fireplace on a cool evening and mornings! There seemed to be ample kitchen tools for our food-loving and cooking crew … although we didn’t have basic ‘staples’ (salt & pepper, etc.) and will pack more completely next time!
A visiting neighbor ‘dog’ - and a couple of friendly cats - came to visit us on the porch and side patio! We really enjoyed observing deer and turkey sharing the beautiful landscape!
