Villa Casa Di Roccia is located in the heart of Marcana. Marcana is a small village and municipality of the same name in the southern part of Istria, about 15 km north of Pula. The location of the villa offers a perfect balance of peace and private enjoyment, away from the city bustle and tourist crowds, but at the same time is not far from all the main towns in Istria. This part of Istria is dominated by green hills and bays with clear water, ideal for exploring the underwater world. Pula, the largest city in Istria, is world-famous for its impressive Colosseum, an ancient amphitheater built in the 1st century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Vespasian. Besides cultural and historical beauties, Istria offers unique culinary experiences, well known in this part of Europe. Homemade prosciutto (prsut), wine and Istrian pasta (fuzi) are just some of the delicacies of true Mediterranean cuisine in Istria. Istria's peninsula is also home to one of the most beautiful national parks in this part of Europe - Brijuni. You can reach the islands by boat from Fazana, only about 15 km from the villa. Car is recommended.
