We rented the Cary Retreat for a week; it was our best vacation rental ever! The one-bedroom house lived much larger, because it was LARGE: large gourmet kitchen; large bedroom; large outdoor living area! The gourmet kitchen provided a super special treat, the experience of cooking on an Induction Stovetop! The patio was fantastic, large and comfortable with a conversation area for four, and a dining table with seating for four. We didn't use the outdoor grill because I didn't want to miss out on slaving over the Induction Stovetop. (BTW, my happy place is in the kitchen, and I was extra happy.) The Cary Retreat is within easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and a beautiful park at the center of the city. A large number of events are held in downtown Cary especially on the weekends. There was a drum circle downtown while we were there. It was very enjoyable from inside the Cary Retreat, as well as, after we located it in the square. Events seemed to be over by 9:00 p.m. so no one lost out on beauty rest. The location is also handy for traveling to the greater Raleigh area, and we visited as many of the museums, gardens and historic sites as we could fit into our schedule. Carl & Louise, were very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We feel privileged to have had the experience of enjoying the Cary Retreat, and all the amenities provided. We're looking forward to our next visit. In case Santa sees this: Induction Stovetop
