"TAUBE" Holiday Rental
The newly renovated "Taube" holiday rental is located in Schammelsdorf—7 km east of the World Heritage city of Bamberg in the Eller Valley. Among other things, the area is known for having the highest concentration of breweries and butcher shops in the world—welcome to the culinary region of Upper Franconia!
The idyllic, rural surroundings are ideal for hiking and biking in "fränkischen Toskana". For motorcyclists, the area on the edge of Franconian Switzerland offers magnificent riding routes.
The 13-Breweries Trail stretches 34 km through lovely countryside—including Schammelsdorf.
The village also has its own brewery (a 350-meter walk) serving delicious Franconian specialities. Furthermore, the region is known for its numerous breweries and beer cellars, which invite you to stop in for a drink.
The 100-square-meter upstairs apartment features 3 bedrooms sleeping 6, a large kitchen-living room, a bathroom, and a separate toilet.
Amenities include a TV, a well-equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, a large terrace with a grill, a large private parking space, bed linens, and
towels, which are changed regularly.
The apartment is suitable for families with children and long-term holidaymakers—two large
playgrounds, a sports field, and a riding stable are located nearby.
Dogs are allowed for a fee of 10 euros per night.
In the interest of everyone, smoking is not permitted in the apartment.
If necessary, the sofa (80 cm x 220 cm) or a fold-out bed can accommodate a 7th person—just let us know.
Please understand that the apartment can only be booked for a minimum of 2 nights.

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung total wohlgefühlt. Alles war sehr hochwertig und neu ausgestattet sowie sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet... genauso, wie man es sich für einen entspannten Urlaub wünscht. Alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Besonders gut fanden wir die ruhige Lage und die herzliche, freundliche Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Man merkt einfach, dass hier mit viel Liebe auf Details geachtet wird. In der Umgebung gibt es viele tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten... z.B. die schöne Stadt Bamberg (12 km entfernt), verschiedene Seen oder die vielen regional vorhandenen Brauereien. Hier würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder buchen!

Super Ferienwohnung, sehr nette Vermieter. Wir waren zu fünft mit zwei Hunden hier und haben uns hervorragend aufgehoben gefühlt. Zur Begrüßung gab es Fassbier aus der Ortseigenen Brauerei. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 👍🍻

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die großzügige Wohnung liegt schön ruhig mit einem großen separaten Parkplatz vor dem Haus. Für uns bot sie mehr Platz, als wir dachten. Die Vermieter sind supernett und hatten sehr gute Tipps für unseren Besuch in Bamberg und Umgebung parat.Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit! Die Wohnung ist echt super, genauso wie dargestellt! Die Ausstattung ist noch etwas dürftig, aber die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen und haben um Anregungen gebeten, um diese umzusetzen, also wirklich super! Es gab sogar ein kleines Gastgeschenk für jeden Gast inklusive Vierbeiner! Jederzeit wieder!!
