Disgusting. Not In Fit State To Be Rented Out

Strong stench of drains/damp in the en suite throughout stay. Smell leaked into main bedroom. Room beneath en suite is very damp. Owner knew about this but said nothing. Lead picture is of grass leading to terrace. There is no grass just mud and weedsThe pool was 3/4 full of dirty water with thick band of green algaeLock for the patio doors was seized, key for property got stuck in the lockRemote control for the gates only worked 50% of timeThe TV in the lounge is damaged with thick band down the middle of screenThe shower screen in the bathroom not sealedRain water drips into sun roomMany light fittings don't workBroadband not secure, wifi only in 2 rooms.Contacted property manager on return. No refund offered as we had not contacted owner. Owner spoke no English, we spoke no Spanish. Smell is caused by structural problem which could not have been fixed during stay. No details of the issues were disputed. Manager just blamed us, and took no responsibility.
