Het is een ouder huisje naast een treinspoor, wat ook uit de beschrijving blijkt, dus er komen treinen langs. Wat mij als gast irriteerde is dat de verwarming in het huisje alleen in de ochtend en avond een korte tijd aan gaat en ik moet dan de verhuurder vragen om dit op afstand aan te passen. Dit geen geen gastvrij gevoel. In het instructieboekje bij het huisje staan nog wat meer bepalingen, die je geen ‘welkom’ gevoel geven.Het huisje is oppervlakkig schoon gemaakt, maar roosters in de afzuigkap zijn blijkbaar nooit schoongemaakt (beschermtape zat nog op de buitenranden) en waren erg vies, dus eerst zelf maar schoon gemaakt. Ook in de badkamer zijn de roosters niet schoon. Het bad, toilet en wasbak zijn wel schoon, maar er is wat onderhoud op bepaalde vlakken nodig.
