The popular Melzow holiday home, located not far from Berlin, offers you a unique getaway surrounded by nature within the walls of a historic farmstead. The former barn was built at the beginning of the last century using clinker brick as an outbuilding for the bakery, which was then located in the main house. This beautiful building served our predecessors—who ran a small farm alongside the bakery—as a barn for pigs, cows, and horses, with the loft used as storage for hay and straw. When the roof needed to be re-thatched several years ago, we decided to convert the entire building into a holiday home. It was particularly important to us to take a sustainable and eco-friendly approach and, furthermore, to use historic building materials.

Just 100 kilometres from Berlin, we’ve created a unique retreat in the countryside here. Whether you’re visiting as a family or as a couple, you can expect comfort with plenty of charm: lovingly furnished, you’ll want for nothing at the Melzow Holiday Home!
