Serene Lake Retreat with Northern Michigan Feel - 20 Minutes from Ann Arbor
Relax with family and friends at this peaceful lakefront retreat, tucked into the end of a quiet residential street with a quaint canal to the west and sweeping lake views. Just 20 minutes from the Big House (U of M Stadium), 5 minutes to downtown South Lyon, and 15 minutes to charming downtown Northville.
You're close to everything without ever feeling like it. Tee off at one of Oakland County's many golf courses, swing by Busch's Fresh Food Market for groceries, or try Aubree's for the pizza locals rave about (both just 5 minutes away). Perfect for a quiet solo escape, small family gathering, or a memorable weekend with friends. Enjoy the lake, relax on the dock, and gather around the firepit once the sun goes down. If you like to fish, bring your poles, there's great fishing right off the expansive dock. Live bait is available at the nearby ACE Hardware (a 5-minute drive). Inside, the home is bright, clean, and modern.
If you're looking to venture out onto the lake, we have three kayaks available to rent for $75 per stay (paddles and life jackets included), which helps cover upkeep. A quick waiver is required to use them, just let us know if you're interested and we'll send it your way along with payment details.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Place used towels in the shower stall, not with the trash or bedding
Return any items you moved, such as deck chairs taken to the beach, to their original spot
Hand wash and put away any dishes you use before you leave
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Quiet hours 10pm-8am. Trampoline/coop next door isn't ours. Fires only in beach pit (fireplace inoperable); douse when done. No fireworks.
Swimming/kayaking at your own risk (no lifeguard). Kayaks rent for $75/stay, waiver required. Bunk beds used at own risk, use caution on the ladder.
Required to secure booking: renter stays on-site, matching photo ID, full names of all guests, written rules agreement. No visitors without approval.
