This home is even better than the pictures make it look! It is so spacious and plenty of space to hang out inside and out! Really neat to have the lake and kayaks. Was a lot of fun will stay again:)
The lake house was big and roomy for my whole family to stay and enjoy time together. The sandy beach area was great for swimming and a nice dock for fishing.
I want to give a more balanced review than what others submitted. The location is beautiful! Gorgeous homes around crooked lake and kayaking was great. 4 kayaks provided! Other reviews said it was clean which it was but should also be noted that it is very dated, needs updating, and some repairs. Ceiling tiles in kitchen are broken, upstairs sink basin is cracked, no curtain in one bedroom-we used a towel, other bedroom curtain wouldn’t work to close. Some food left in cabinets were open. Worn wall to wall carpet with multiple warn throw rugs over the wall to wall carpet. Water has a sulfur smell and you might want to bring bottled waters. Beds were comfortable though. Nice shower. Now for some people the outdated conditions of the house are fine because of the incredible location on the water and its close proximity to town which had great restaurants. It just should be part of the review so potential renters can make an informed decision.
The house is wonderful. It’s very large and very comfortable. The location is great. We had a great time and would love to stay here when the weather is warmer.
Wow! This was so nice on the lake! Very large 2 story home we had everything we needed! The neighborhood was so nice and beds were good bathrooms were large an dining room table was great for games!
This place was even better than we'd anticipated, lots of space, plenty of linens and towels, very clean. It was a perfect location for everything we wanted to do and we are definitely planning to stay here again.
Besides the great weather for snowboarding, the home and space were immaculate. There was ample space for the 7 of us and the views of the lake were quite a highlight when waking up!! Will definitely be looking to stay here again when back in the area.
Been staying at this house for the last few years and have always had a great experience. Shane our host is always very accommodating. Would highly recommend this staying at this beautiful house.
Although we were there to work, we did not make use of the lake, though we did sit outside. Our host was very understanding about our need to work and was generous in refunding some of the fee when the work crew he had was fairly disruptive. Rooms were comfortable
We stayed at the Vacation at the Lake home for 8 days. It was a wonderful. The neighborhood is great. The home is just a few minutes from shopping, and is right between Brighton and Howell, two of the nicest towns in Michigan.
The beds were comfortable. The home was very clean. It is perfectly laid out so that you can have wonderful family dinners and game nights. The lake views are beautiful.
The host is great, and I would definitely stay here again.

Specious and enjoyed the wildlife at the lake. House has many little things that could be improved though.
Excellent property in a fantastic location! House is much bigger then the pictures. Very clean, plenty of extra towels and bedding. Area and lake was very quiet.
