Rural semi-detached cottage restored in outbuildings of a 17th century manor house.

From the cottage, located in a quiet hamlet with all the stone houses, typical of the region, you can go hiking or biking, in the middle of fields and woods, or go to the discovery of the sources of the Touvre.

If you prefer Angouleme, its architectural heritage or its festivals, you will be in 10 minutes by car.

And if you prefer ... do nothing, you will enjoy the comfort of our accommodation.


Nature, sport: The Charente offers many opportunities for activities close to nature: hiking, sports courses in the forest, canoeing on the Touvre, fishing, climbing in the valley of clear waters, bike-rail, walks along the Charente ...

Charmante petite maison, fonctionnelle, calme et spacieuse. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.Petit bémol : la télévision de remplacement a été capricieuse certains soirs. Elle s'allumait bien, nous pouvions changer de chaine mais aucun signal donc aucune chaine. Nous l'avons éteinte plusieurs fois, sans succès. Et au bout d'un long moment, elle revenait à elle.

Séjour très agréable malgré une météo capricieuse.

Fantastic holiday in Touvre

On a passé une semaine très heureuse dans cette charmante et confortable gîte. Les commerces de Quai 55 très proches et pratique. De belles randonnées à côté. La Charente très intéressante à visiter. La maison était impéccable et Patricia et Angélique super gentilles. Merci.

Un gîte au calme et bien placé pour la découverte de la région.

Un joli gîte de grande taille pour le séjour de cinq personnes. Un peu d'insonorisation entre le RDC et le premier pourrait être bienvenu. Ceci n'empêchera pas d'y revenir car tout le reste est parfait.

The Cottage is spacious and functional, and reasonably priced (garden area / patio is a lot more overgrown than it appears in the photos but means it's more private) Espacioso y ideal, Touvre, and Magnac s/Touvre - very quiet 'out of the way' village, nice area for walks / cycling Angloulême, a very lively town full of restaurants and bars, is easily reached (buses in the daytime go from Magnac s/Touvre)
