High-quality, renovated holiday apartment in the front row with an ocean view and a sunny balcony where you can enjoy the sunset—lovingly and comfortably furnished in a modern classic style—located right on Schönberg Beach.
The Happy Place features a large living/dining room and two separate bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a large sleeper sofa. In addition to its location and stylish interior, the highlight of Happy Ocean View is the sun-drenched balcony with ocean views, where you can enjoy the sun from noon until sunset.

The apartment is quiet and features a parking space right next to the building, as well as fiber-optic Wi-Fi and Waipu TV.
The bathroom is equipped with Bluetooth speakers.

A lockable basement storage room can be used to store bicycles or surfboards. There is also a shared washing machine and dryer in the basement, available for a fee. Very convenient, for example, for wet beach towels. You can carry your surfboard or SUP under your arm the short 100 metres across the dike to the water. Or if you don’t have your own board, you can rent one at the water sports school next door. Pedal boats are also available.

The sea gets deep gradually, is usually crystal clear, and has hardly any rocks.

For culinary delights, there are fishermen’s huts on the dike serving delicious fish sandwiches, or the “Barkasse,” which offers delicious homemade ice cream cake and an extraordinary dinner on its glass-enclosed terrace —with an unbeatable view of the sea.

Within walking distance is a supermarket that also has a bakery with fresh rolls.
Schönberg Beach is nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Probstei region and entices visitors with its lush, green landscape and numerous bike paths through the countryside and right along the coast, perfect for extended bike rides.

Starting in July, you can explore the straw figure competition by bike by visiting the participating villages. At the end, the most beautiful and creative straw figure is chosen, and the village is honoured.
At select times, the museum train runs from Kiel to Schönberger Strand. Or you can take a ferry tour via Laboe to the memorial and submarine, all the way to Kiel.
