The Villa is located in a quite area , has an air conditioned and internet with a wireless. The golf course is less 20 min by car.
The Villa is suitable for everyone.

The pool is heated only from June to the end of October.
The pool is not heated in winter!
It is possible to heat the pool in winter for an additional fee.

House Location: This beautiful villa is located in Ulgueira, Rua do Moinho, nº 24-Colares, near Cabo da Roca, 2 km of Praia da Adraga, Praia Grande, and Praia das Maças beaches, Colares, Sintra, only 30 Km to Lisbon centre. The villa is only 7 Km distance from Sintra centre, an old town, (World Heritage site declared by Unesco).
Golf courses about 15 Km away in Sintra and Cascais-Estoril.
You can see in the ridge of Sintra mountains historic monuments like moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace, National Palace, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira and Seteais Palace.
here are fabulous botanical gardens and parks, The Sintra - Cascais Natural Park is one of the best natural areas to visit and walk.

Surroundings: Near this villa ' Casa do Moinho' you can visit some interesting places like Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the continent of Europe, defined by the poet Camoes as 'where the land ends and the sea begins'. The visitors can buy an attractive certificate showing that they have been there. Also, 15 min. drive you can visit Praia da Ursa, a wonderful naturist beach.
You will find some golf courses only half an hour drive from the villa. The village of Cascais has a beautiful brand new marina, with many regional restaurants and bars. In Estoril, you can visit the Estoril Casino, one of the bigger in Europe, with fantastic shows and entertainment.

Rosa was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and always available if we needed her.The villa was clean and traditional Portuguese with superb views. The garden was lovely however the pool which looked great was not heated.The villa is set in a small quiet village location but a car is a must to visit local restaurants and towns.Overall we would recommend this charming villa.

La ubicación de la villa es perfecta, y el clima nos acompañó durante toda la estancia, permitiéndonos disfrutar al máximo sin sufrir la ola de calor que afectaba a otras zonas.La propietaria nos recibió con una exquisita atención, dejándonos una cesta de frutas y unas botellas de vino como detalle de bienvenida. Durante toda la estancia se mostró muy amable y disponible, aunque no fue necesario recurrir a ella, ya que todo funcionó a la perfección.La casa está cuidada al detalle, lo que hizo que nos sintiéramos cómodos y relajados desde el primer instante. Sin duda, repetiremos en el futuro. ¡Altamente recomendable!

Volvimos después de 2 años a esta bella casa, esta vez con mi cuñada. La dependence ha sido remodelada y ahora tiene un bonito baño. Confirmo mi anterior reseña. Hemos estado muy cómodos y el lugar es magnífico. Rosa es una excepcional anfitriona. Muchísimas gracias y hasta pronto!

Très très bonne villa

La villa est aussi merveilleuse que ça propriétaire Madame Rosa Bastos super gentil est agréable est soucieuse du bien être de ces locataire. La villa est équipé de tout il ne faut rien d'autre que ces habits (des pantoufle) la télé est portugais donc prévoir la chose , internet fonctionne impeccable. Très très bien. Est Lisbonne très joli !

Lovely holiday

Casa do Moinho is a comfortable, well kept, portuguese style house in a quiet location. We spent many hours in the pool area, swimming and enjoying the magnificent view. The house provides for everything that you need. The owner is a charming lady and always available if you need any help. Nearby are some lovely restaurants where you can eat typical portuguese food. Also there is plenty to do for everyone: sports, culture and nature. We came away feeling very rested and relaxed.

Paradise

We stayed in this house for two weeks and we felt like we were in paradise. The view towards the ocean is fantastic, the garden is great and the house was very clean. The beds have new matrasses, so we slept very well. Although the house is very near to Sintra, Cascais and some great beaches (one on walking distance), the environment was very quite and the garden very private. Fantastic house on a great place!

Nice house but...

House and gardens verry nicely laid out. Beautiful views to the ocean and coast. We found the house needed a good cleaning. We had to wash everything down in the kitchen as everything was grungy and stickey...including dishes in the cupboards. Same conditions found in most rooms. The bedding is of very poor quality and the master bedroom bed did not even have pillows. The beds themselves are also very poor quality...felt like sleepping on a piece of sponge foam. I've rented many vacation homes over the last years, this is the first I would not return to. Poor price/quality value.

Soggiorno fantastico!

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana bellissima nel soleggiato Portogallo...a febbraio! La casa è molto curata in tutti i dettagli (non manca niente!). Il bel giardino e soprattutto la meravigliosa vista verso il mare ci hanno colpito! Un luogo tranquillo ma a sua volta, vicino a molti posti interessanti: Sintra con il suo meraviglioso parco e palazzo di Pena a meno di 10 minuti, Cascai, Estoril, Faro da Roca vicinissimi. Lisbona a 40 minuti. La padrona di casa, Rosa, incantevole! Gentilissima e molto disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente!

Comprei esta casa por ter uma vista fantástica sobre o mar, onde se pode desfrutar de um magnifico pôr-do-sol sobre o Oceano Atlântico, uma vez que esta propriedade se encontra localizada a cerca de 2 kms do ponto mais ocidental do continente europeu, o Cabo da Roca, no Parque Natural Sintra-Cascais.

Gosto de receber bem os meus hóspedes e tentar lhes proporcionar uma excelente estadia, facultando-lhes toda a informação necessária, nomeadamente sobre praias que temos em redor, dos imponentes monumentos nacionais,como os Palácios Reais de Sintra, Mosteiros e Conventos locais. Também informo sobre a existência de alguns dos melhores restaurantes da região bem como de lojas e supermercados.
