Outstanding!

We have stayed at many rental properties over the years and this house stands out as one of the very best. Mafalda met us on arrival, showed us around and I was immediately impressed by the quality of everything in the house. I really cannot fault it and if I returned to the area I would not hesitate to stay again.

Amazing villa in a perfect location

We had a wonderful stay with our family in this beautiful villa with a relaxing swimming pool and spacious outdoor area, perfectly located in the heart of Sintra. We would be happy to come back. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Wonderful stay, great villa and location

The villa and it's location suited us perfectly. The pool area is every bit as lovely as the photos and the interior of the villa was even better then we expected. Everything was spotlessly clean, communication with the host was extremely straight-forward and she was very welcoming and helpful. For anyone wanting to explore the Sintra national forest and it's attractions, the nearby Atlantic coast, or take a day trip into Lisbon, the location is ideal.

Great property!

We stayed here as 2 families with 4 children aged 9-14 and it was fab! Exceptionally clean and well equipped and Mafalda was lovely and helpful. We didn’t hire a car but the supermarket nearby was very well equipped and close enough for one or 2 visits per day. Also near easy bus routes to get to beaches and into Sintra so a car wasn’t required. The pool was a perfect size and the outdoor space was great. The photos don’t do it justice.

Excellent holiday house with great location

This house was really good for our family with five adults. It was clean and nice and included everything one could think from beach towels to chargoal grill and washing machines. Bedrooms were big and nice. Master bedroom had its own bathroom, which was a nice surprise. Location was also excellent, close to Praia Grande, Sintra, Lissabon, Cascais and Ericeira. And good grocery store, winery, coffee shops and brewery are within short walking distance. Our host was helpful and answered immediately if something came up. We would definitely visit this house again!

Great little town close to Sintra

The property was really nice and big. Mafalda was great and verify attentive to all our needs and very helpful with groceries, restaurants, etc. Nice size bedrooms, comfy beds and washrooms were good. Pool area was nice with shower and washroom. Nice big laundry room and playroom if you have kids. Automatic gate was great addition. Big kitchen equipped with everything you need. Only downside was the only condiment provided was salt so we had to go buy pepper, sugar, oil, etc.

Amazing stay

The house is BETTER than the description! There are four bathrooms on the property, each with shower and toilet. The kitchen is lovely and adequately equipped, though not for anything but basic food prep. The house is perfect for family gatherings; well maintained and well equipped. The evening views are spectacular, and the pool was perfect for swims after a busy day touring and walking. Colares is a lovely and quaint village, with everything you need for groceries, gas (you definitely need a SMALL car there), and cafes. Please note that websites are not updated and accurate, so be prepared if a restaurant isn't open as expected! A perfect location with easy access to beaches and Sintra. Highly recommended!

Superbe maison avec piscine, Mafalda a été très accueillante, pas avare de recommandations pour notre séjour de 6 jours en famille/amis. Le logement est spacieux et confortable, la cuisine bien équipée. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le confort de la maison et les commodités environnantes !Séjour à renouveler sur du plus long terme si nous revenons dans la région plus tard ! Encore merci à Mafalda !

Wir waren mit acht Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern in diesem Haus in Colares und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Für die Kinder gab es ausreichend Spielzeug im Gartenhaus. Die Gegend ist einfach traumhaft.Viele Dinge lagen schon bereit, zum Beispiel Handtücher für den pool und Holzkohle für den Grill – alles hat wunderbar funktioniert. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke an Mafalda für die Gastfreundschaft.

Everything about this house was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was an absolute wonderful setup and a really relaxing place to return to after a day of sightseeing. This villa was fantastic. We stayed as a family of 8. One double bedroom with an ensuite (also contained a cot as requested), then there was a large family bathroom shared by the other three rooms -a double, a twin, and a room with bunk beds. Helpfully there was also a toilet and shower in a small building outside by the pool. The villa was exceptionally clean and maintained to a high standard. The pool was a fantastic size and with a good depth - one end over 6ft. We decided not to hire a car and instead used uber/bolt to get around which worked out cheaper for us. The area is also lovely to be near the hills and with close proximity to the sites of Sintra and the beach. (If you are visiting the Sintra parks plan your day carefully as the one way roads means it takes much longer to get there than get back).Approximately a 45-60min drive to Lisbon and less than 10 to the coast. Check in, check out was seamless and the host was always available via WhatsApp if needed. Thank you for a great stay!!

Excellent Villa

The villa was perfect for our needs. Well equipped and very comfortable. Also nice and secure with the gated driveway entrance. Good sunbeds and nice clean pool. We loved it.

Family vacation

Amazing home away from home. The area is perfect location with so many amenities including 4 showers. Mafalda was so welcoming. We will definitely come back again. We loved adraga beach, cascais beach. For foodTasc julio, gigi pizza, adraga resturant were our favorites.

Toller Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden um einen unbeschwerten Urlaub dort zu verbringen. Bei Fragen ist die Vermieterin immer erreichbar und sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Guinchobeach, Sintra, Mafra, AzenhasLissabon -alles ist von Colares aus gut zu erreichen.

This home is spectacular, all the amenities needed, clean, comfortable, spacious, close walking distance to cute town of Colares where there are grocery markets and coffee shops and the cutest ducks!!! Will definitely come back again!
