This charming house, with its top-notch amenities and secluded location above the lake, is truly something special. On the wraparound terrace or at one of the seating areas in the garden. During the warmer months, the wide terrace doors invite you to enjoy life outdoors. When the weather outside is chilly, the fireplace and sauna provide cosy comfort. Tasteful decor and colourful textiles reflect the moods of the lake inside the house. The gathering spot for the residents is the large table next to the kitchen counter, with a view of the lake. The second living room offers a quiet retreat.

This accommodation, set in a natural environment, is located in a protected landscape area and borders a Naturschutzgebiet.Es, offering you a unique retreat far from the hustle and bustle. Here you can experience the silence of nature, relax under a vast sky, and enjoy the special atmosphere that only a natural habitat can provide. The sounds of nature—whether the gentle rustling of the trees, the chirping of crickets, or the sound of an animal visitor—are part of this special environment and make your stay an authentic experience. The hiking trail runs right past the house through the neighbouring Spetzgarter Tobel (a narrow forest gorge) to the lake or the impressive rock formations above Sipplingen. On the other side, a 20-minute walk with sweeping panoramic views will take you to a well-stocked supermarket and the guest bus stop. This bus takes you to Überlingen’s city centre area, the thermal baths, and the boat dock every hour, free of charge. The journey here is exciting, with the paths growing narrower and narrower until you reach your idyllic holiday home.

Our holiday rental is situated on a spacious, approximately 8,000 m² natural property in a wonderfully quiet, secluded location—right on the edge of a nature reserve. A true paradise for nature lovers awaits you here: dense woodlands, wild and romantic trails, and a unique sense of seclusion and open space.

Please note: At the edge of the property is a natural cliff edge with a slope several metres deep. It is largely shielded by dense vegetation and trees and is somewhat secluded—nevertheless, we ask for extra caution, especially when children are present. Due to the protected status of the nature reserve, it is not possible to install a permanent railing or barrier. We also ask for your understanding that open fires (e.g., campfires or fire pits) are not permitted anywhere on the property for safety and nature conservation reasons.

For 2–3 guests, we provide the ground floor of the house (approx. 120 square metres). For 4–7 guests, you also have the option of using an additional bedroom and a bathroom on the upper floor. In that case, you’ll have approximately 150 square metres at your disposal. The ground floor offers a total of 5 sleeping accommodation and one bathroom. Important note:
Each guest receives a linens package that includes a shower towel, a regular towel, bed linens, and sheets. The local tourist tax charged by the municipality is billed separately per night and per person.
